Ooh, that tree quilt is amazing! I love how you created structure with the stands of fiber. The leafs are so pretty. Amazing job!

JoyfulClover, you can't compare the quilts with eachother. Every quilt is made different and there is no wrong or right. I love your modern, artistic twist you put into the quilt.
Of course you could have done things differently, I see that in my quilt too, but I think it is part of creativity and learning.  Smiley

Cmarion, you made your quilt artsy with the colours you chose and I really love the unicorn.

We just need to do another MAQ swap haha   Wink We get to make what we meant to  Cheesy

That is an awesome quilt! Very creative!  Cheesy
I love the lettering a lot, did you stitch that free motion? I tried it once and found it very hard to do.

The compass quilt is so beautiful! The colours and positiion of the fabrics are perfectly chosen. Great work!

I love the rainbow quilt too, the colours are so pretty and so are the structure/pattern of the fabrics you used. The tree is pretty. Great idea to add the leaves stitch, matches well.

This gallery is filled with awesomeness!  Grin

I love your purse! And I love dr Who too!
Sometimes patterns are so confusing, for me it works best if I have an example which I can 'study' or a youtube tutorial. Once you get it, the patter and description makes sense haha  Cheesy

I love the idea of a purse of the month challenge, but like the two of you, I don't need more bags/purses/clutches...  Wink

Great work!!  Smiley

I used to make cards a lot, then I got into sewing and crochet. My lovely partner bought me a Silhouette Cameo and so I'm back into cards (among many other crafts haha)
I filled in I can use my Silhouette and stamping, sewing, handlettering, it is all possible  Cool

So I sent in my questionnaire  Cheesy

Hi Beck!!! *waves* I missed you around here!! Good to 'see' you!  Cheesy

Yay! Let the fun begin!!  Smiley

On the Unicorn. Yes, paper pieced unicorn from http://www.robynie.com/unicorn-pattern/ . Very clear instructions and even though it was many, many pieces, it went together surprisingly quickly and easily. This is only my third paper piecing and the first was a simple test block to learn the technique. I guess my years of graphic design/website/cramming lots into small spaces has done me good. I'm pretty good at spacial visualizing, but paper piecing...working from the back....really gets me confused. Hence the shades of some of the colors didn't end up where I wanted them....as if anyone cares. It turned out quite well despite my own inner expectations.

When I added the beads I never thought of glitter snorts! Just wanted to make the unicorn more dynamic. GLITTER SNORTS!!!! Love it.

Thanks! Will have look over there, I want one too!  Smiley
Pff, paper piecing isn't that hard but yes it is very confusing sometimes haha! I paperpieced the chickens and of course I sewed on pieces the wrong way more than once haha!  Tongue When I really think it over, I get more confused, but not thinking at all doesn't work either.  Roll Eyes
I don't think I could add shades and to me it looks just so awesome!
Yeah, the glitter snorts are just too funny, intended or not!  Wink

That dandelion quilt is beautiful!! Love the text you added with the different elements, so clever and pretty. Amazing work!  Cheesy

That unicorn quilt is amazing!!!  Shocked Wow!
Did you paper piece that?

Lolololol....glitter snorts.....of course a unicorn would have glitter snorts. They are just lttle shades of pink beads. And there is beading around the horn and mane....maybe it's unicorn dandruff.

Haha! LOL! I would love to have snorts and dandruff like that!  Grin

The tree is so pretty! That fabric is chosen perfectly! I love the blues in the placemat too, I love blues (ehh the colour, not the feeling Wink)
