11  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: The Rainbow Sloth - LOTSA pics! on: May 12, 2017 01:18:33 PM
Thank you everyone!  <3  Smiley

@wendiek - I "inherited" a whole bunch of spare bobbins from a friend who accidentally bought the wrong type for her machine, that made it a bit less onerous, and those are some of my favourite quilting threads so they'll get used up eventually.  Smiley

I own quite some bobbins, but still, you have to change them every time.
Matching threads and seeing the quilt grow, makes it all worth it!
You put lots of love into it!  Smiley
12  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Midnight Tree Mini Art Quilt on: May 11, 2017 10:06:23 AM
This is such a beautiful art quilt! Love the tree and that you chose for lighter coloured leaves. So clever to use strands of fiber to form a tree. Love it, the structure and colours. Dark but it has a happy feeling to it (if that makes any sense  Smiley )

Great quilt!
13  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Dandelion Art Quilt on: May 11, 2017 09:59:05 AM
I love the dandelion quilt a lot! You captured its form perfectly and I love the seeds in the wind. The background fabric is perfect.
Love the quote and that you made it with charms. Great quilt, really!  Smiley

Whoa, that is amazing! And changing thread every time to match the background alone made me feel lazy because I ignored that hahaha!

Love all the pics you took, thanks so much for sharing.

This rocks, oh yeah!  Smiley
15  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Mini Art Quilt Swap 8 Gallery on: May 10, 2017 09:55:08 PM
I hope all of you will give your MAQs their own threads and share process pics and all that 'cause I am so curious about how everybody did everything! Links to any patterns used would be so appreciated too, I looked up that glitter snorts unicorn already Wink.

I think I shared the pattern I used, no process pics because I always forget to take pictures when I work haha!

Yeah, I bought that unicorn pattern already  Grin

The sloth is very pretty! I would not have known how to start on a sloth quilt  Tongue
We have some rainbow lovers in this swap, haha!  Cheesy Great work!
16  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Bow ties are cool . . . . on: May 10, 2017 10:26:04 AM
Oh yes, the coffee beans bow tie is fun!!  Cheesy
But so is the Tardis, you have to be a Whovian to see what it is, I like that  Wink

Of course you can persuade some boy to wear them! These are fun and of course very cool!
I pinned the tutorial for future use. I happen to know a man who would want and wear one!  Smiley
17  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Common Ground round 5 GALLERY! on: May 10, 2017 10:02:46 AM
Yay! I'm so happy you received Melody!   Cheesy I was sure I would receive before you, that's what normally happens. I think yours has taken a round tour haha  Wink

It was fun to craft for you and we have a lot in common, don't we ?!  Smiley
The tags (or bookmarks) were cut by my Silhouette, I could never cut that straigth by hand!  Wink

I hope yours will arrive this week too, I'm so curious!

Mhm I noticed that I didn't comment on the last packages..
I love the coasters too and who doesn't love those adorable doggies! Cute!!

The unicorns are so sparkling! Little mirrors are a must in your handbag and the little buttons are so cute!

They are fun!

My boys like wearing bow ties with Christmas. These are way more fancy than theirs.

And of course bow ties are cool  Grin

20  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Notecard Set Swap SU- 4/29-5/11, SO- 5/26 on: May 08, 2017 11:16:39 AM
Well I went into my Cricut Design space to work on some designs and they are upgrading or something and I'm having trouble getting in.... so I went on Amazon and bought a Serger instead... ha ha.... maybe i should cancel that order.... ha ha

Hahaha LOL!  Grin You silly woman!
I own a serger, bought it in England, but I don't really use it... Just not so easy, when you want another stitch, I have to change all the treading in the machine.. I find it confusing!

I recently got a Cameo Silhouette (my partner bought that for ME!) and I love using it. I'm not always using the right settings, but still it is fun!

Today I made a few cards already, I think they are fun and cute, let's hope some of you are interested in fun and cute haha  Cheesy

Oh, I'm open for other dimensions as well, I actually LOVE minis and yes I use them!  Smiley
