23  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / anti-slip mat bangle & ring on: June 14, 2009 01:33:13 PM
Got a creative vibe going on this evening  Grin Just super glued a piece of white plastic (from the plastic handles of a plastic bag) and a piece of anti-slip mat (the ones you lay under a carpet) together. I really like the texture and the color and it seems to hold very well!

Thanks for looking (and commenting if you feel like it  Smiley)

25  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / puffy top & puma recon on: May 06, 2009 08:32:36 AM
Okay, to make a short title a bit longer:
I made a puffy top from reclaimed fabrics (partly thrift shop, partly old wardrobe stuff) - and I made a simple change to an old unique (I'm so proud that I found this one!) PUMA sweater...

The puffy top is my first thing I made with a pattern from a magazine. Just the pattern, because I couldn't follow the instructions Tongue Inside it's a mess with wrong stitches everywhere but I don't worry about that too much  Grin...

Close-up of fabrics:

So I said I made a simple alteration... First the neckline was like someone had a fight with it, it was pulled in any direction (Ignore top that is sticking out) Cheesy Here's the picture:

Have a nice day!

I thought you made knickers out of the pants you showed  Roll Eyes Huh Okay, I mean I thought those pants were store-bought. But after reading everything... it's completely thrifted! which makes you my hero!  Smiley Well done !!!!!!
27  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: How to hold up a strapless dress? on: April 30, 2009 12:34:05 AM
Thanks for all the answers! Eventually I took the dress in and renewed the bias tape in the chest area. I also tried dome elastic but that wasn't very appealing... I hope it fits now Cheesy

even if it's simple I like pictures to go with tuts :-)
I think it's simple because of the pictures  Smiley
Anyway, I really like this!!! Thank you  Kiss

Love it! And yay for pink! A lot of friends I have seem allergic to pink... While it's just a colour, right? :-)
