11  1hr Bootees but i call them Baby Bovver` Boots in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by nuttywoman on: March 07, 2009 01:59:17 PM

Here is a pair of bovverboots Grin  ie: 1hr Bootees i  made from from the book, they`re for my great nephew due in June.
The colours really are red and navy blue, i`m not happy with the red buttons i think they`re too small so i`m going to go for something more chunky .
I know the duck buttons look yellow but my camera has done that Angry They`re a bright red  Grin

I was given a t-towel as a present from rellies from Australia and decided to make something special with it.So i turned it into a cover for my sewing machine. The side fabric is a lovely blue piece i picked up, its covered in little scissors, i added lace plus tassle stuff to bling it all up.I`ve also added tassling ( is that a word? ) to `The Sheilas` waist to cover her modesty, lol

20  Re: Medieval dress for my medieval loving daughter in Costumes: Completed Projects by nuttywoman on: August 19, 2008 12:40:48 PM
that does make things rather challenging....

going from something like this

to something like this

kind of requires someone with a camera to be physically there....

maybe she'll has a friend with a camera?

They are stunning costumes the work put into them.
Still can`t get any action shots cos she`s in Germany & dress in UK! lol
