Hi Everyone!!  This is my first attempt at making a purse, lining anything, and perhaps only my second post here!  I tried my hand at making these ....bags.  Perhaps this type of bag/purse has a name.  If you know what it is called, let me know.   Smiley  I'll enjoy comments and suggestions on these bags. I'm a quilter, but am wishing to branch out in my sewing.

Both of these bags are made from home-dec fabric.  The striped one is from the curtains in my livingroom, lined with some misc. fabric I found in my stash.  The other is a brocade type fabric I received from a freecycle pickup.  It was one skinny curtain panel before I hacked and slashed.  The lining was also in that same freecycle box.

((Now let me see if I can figure how to post a photo))  ...  ((opps...no...need to post a few more times Smiley ))

323  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: What Kind Of Belt Buckle Is This? on: November 27, 2007 02:04:04 PM
"Military Belt Buckle"

I *just* saw them on the notions wall at my local Michael's.  The Boy Scouts also sell them, but their belts are fairly narrow.

Good luck
