This is SO AMAZING I can't possibly get over it. ALL my siblings and my father need one. If you can offer any hints or anything it would be very welcome! Smiley

They're amazing! How I'd like to try a few... but my knitting skills are a tad shaky. You probably just improvised the pattern... but if not - do share! Smiley

5  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Custom Popple Swap (CLOSED, send out by 7/20) on: June 09, 2008 11:03:54 AM
So sad I missed this... oh well, I'm more of a crocheter - gotta work out a popple pattern that way...

eta: for next time, I've seen a bunch of popple patterns on ebay of late...
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Firefly amigurumi! (pic heavy, as always) on: June 04, 2008 11:51:10 AM
These are entirely made up of awesomeness. All the handpainted clothes especially are just incredible.
I think (if I were making them - I wish I could just buy them ALL from you Smiley ) that I would do Simon's hair a bit differently... possibly using this tutorial: http://owly.wordpress.com/2007/08/27/amigurumi-hair-tutorial/  But they do probably match together better your way.
Also my husband says he wants to see Shepard Book with his hair down... or up as the case may be. Smiley
You two are so amazing.

Are those brads for the nostrils? And jeweled ones for the eyes?

Very nice job. Smiley
