651  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Fabulously Fun Felt Foods - Tons!!! on: January 27, 2008 05:42:11 AM
When my 2 neices were young, they used to take our "order" for meals on little pads of paper. How fun it would have been if they could have had this wonderful felt food to deliver to the waiting customers!  You did a fantastic job, and I will save this idea for when my new grandchild is born! Thanks -and you really do rock! Grin

I love your dog and I am glad you left him so fuzzy. It looks so real!  You did a great job, and thanks for the Youtube visit. Some great ideas there.

I agree with the cloudy effect. Stormy on the top and a sunny day on the bottom. I love this! Great work.

I saw these made on a tv show- Carol Duvall- maybe. Yours turned out so well. I love the colors you chose and also the simple cord for stringing. Nice work.

MIcrowave Brown Paper Bag Caramel Corn

18 cups popped corn, I use air popped
Mix 1 stick butter, 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 1 c. brown sugar. Microwave on High for 2 mins. (or use stove top)  Add 1/2 t. baking soda and stir very well. Put popped corn into brown grocery bag and pour hot mixture over it--shake very well.  Microwave 1 minute, 30 seconds on High.  Shake very well. Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet, spread fairly flat.  Try not to eat it til it is cool!!!

Another recipe you might try--pop your corn in olive oil!  It tastes great!

enjoy!
