2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / Re: Block prints with recycled food packaging on: November 12, 2008 06:06:20 PM
I'm taking my first (of hopefully many) printmaking classes right now. I can appreciate how nice it is to find something that carves quickly and easily! (if for nothing more than a change of pace and a break for your wrist)

i looooove it! i love the contrast of the bright and 3d embroidery with the image. i guess it's unexpected and that's why i like it.
6  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: altering a small dressform to plus size-image heavy on: June 26, 2008 08:33:34 PM
i think this looks great! what a good idea, and it looks so nicely done. I really want a dress form, but my body is oddly proportioned and I have never felt compelled to buy something that wont be like me anyway. and i hate the gaps in the adjustable forms.

haha my dog always used to bark at my mother's dress formas well. especially when we would put costumes on the form on halloween, sometimes my dog couldn't even stand to walk by it.
