1  shiny peach octopus! in Needlework: Completed Projects by nicolechudy on: November 28, 2009 01:47:43 AM
Alright, I've been lurking this site for a while now and I've finally figured out how to post..
so here is my latest project, a shiny peach octopus!

This year since I am broke, I decided to make really awesome presents for my friends and family.  My friend's sister is currently teaching in South Korea so I made this little guy as a constant reminder of her sis!  It's not quite finished yet, as I am going to add something Korean symbols in the bottom right corner.   Phew! This took me about 3 days of sewing to complete all those little circles.  The worst part though was sewing under the wooden frame in the back that was about 2 inches around the edges...

the thought process..

the final result!  (these colors are most accurate!)

and a blurry closeup!

I'd love to hear your feedback because I have a few more in the works!  Smiley
