1  Re: Hippy Swp Round 9 - gallery of gorgeousness! in The Swap Gallery by AttieNichole on: July 27, 2014 01:59:56 PM
I received from bookstorebabe about four days ago, and am just now getting around to posting pictures--sorry about that!  Bookstorebabe did a great job at sending items that were requested in the questionaire and even added an item inspired by my pinterest!  I'm very happy with everything, and am so glad that I participated in this swap again Smiley

Here's everything:  a warm and practical swirly scarf (sharpie and alcohol, which is a really neat technique that I've been wanting to try), recycled office supplies (scrap paper, a small desk organizer/holder, mini-notebooks with really interesting nature pictures on them, larger notebooks with a nature/tree theme), a cute purple vase (inspired by my pinterest) which is perfect for my office, a sun necklace, a moon necklace, a tree necklace, a framed beaded flower (made of mardi gras beads) and a super cute peace sign bookmark.  I am so happy with everything!  Thank you for going above and beyond and sending things that I love and will use!

The beautiful framed flower--look how neat this turned out!

Close up of the super perfect necklaces!!!

Notebook close ups--there is a design on both the front and back.  The other side is shown in the group photo of all the items.  I love these, and they will definitely get used.

Vase in action--and close up of vase detail!

2  Re: Surviving The Walking Dead Gallery in The Swap Gallery by AttieNichole on: May 28, 2014 07:07:21 PM
Holy cow, was I spoiled!  Everything is perfect and so well made.  I received:  embroidered coasters with Walking Dead characters on them (which are now gracing my coffee table but are way too pretty to use) three pieces of artwork which also have blood splatters on them...and are perfect, Walking Dead magnets, a Terminus baggie, and a Daryl Dixon wood burning.  I love Daryl!!!!  Here are the pics, and please ignore the very "loud" and bright scarf turned table cloth in the photo Smiley

cute Terminus baggie that held the magnets

Thank you so much!  Everything is so freaking amazing!

Here is my swap package from Bunny1Kenobi!  Smiley  First and foremost, let me go ahead and say that after a long time of not doing any swaps, my swap partner did a great job at matching my interests to the items in the package--I liked everything!

Here is a group shot of the entire contents, minus the two shirts, which are in the following pictures.  Dominoes bracelet, framed art, two picture holders, two necklaces, earring set, ring, mini-book, stone geeko made in Mexico, monogrammed purse mirror, Rayquaza labeled lip balm, cute pokemon cards and envelopes, two luggage tags, and a cute seal card with a written description:

And a shirt for my boyfriend (Portal themed):

And a shirt for me (purple, sparkly, and based on a song that I pin to my pinterest often...and repeatedly lol)  Both shirts fit each of us perfectly!

A group photo of the jewelry in the package:

Close up of the two necklaces.  Absolutely perfect, and absolutely beautiful!

A very lovely picture frame with a framed drawing completed by bunny1kenobi herself--I love this!

And a dominos bracelet with rainbow images on the backside (looks like dominos on the backside).  This is very pretty!  Unfortunately, some of the links disconnected in transit, so I may turn these into individual key chain organizers for my keys--I have what feels like a bagillion keys and they could use some organizing.

What a fantastic package to receive!  Thank you so much!

7  Relay for Life Craft Sale in Crafty Charitable/Social Causes by AttieNichole on: July 12, 2012 05:21:03 AM
This year I participated in a craft sale for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.  I'm part of a team called Jana's Angels in memory of my boyfriend's mother.  I figured, since she crocheted and crafted, why not do a craft sale booth in her honor Smiley  I didn't reach the $100 mark, but sold just under at $99.  Not too bad, considering each drink cozy was sold for a dollar Smiley  I also sold bookmarks for $1 as well, but only sold two of those.  One rapunzel scarf did sell for $10 which was pretty neat too!  Here are the pictures!

8  Re: Make-a-Friend Swap Round 9 :: Summer 2012 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by AttieNichole on: July 12, 2012 05:04:56 AM
Hello everyone!  I received my second package from annigirl22 a very long time ago, and am just now able to post pictures.  I am in the middle of a move, and a somewhat crazy state of mind due to the move and all the cleaning involved that I haven't had much time for anything.  I feel bad because I kept promising pictures to my swap partner and am just now doing it.  Anyhow, here is the package!  I am in love with everything.  First, I opened a beautiful purple card which has really cute flowers on it.  Stationery and cards really make my day when they're super cute Smiley

Included in the swap package, was an equally cute kitchen accessories set.  I have always dreamed of an orange kitchen and do my best to make one, even while renting and not being able to paint or make huge changes, even in the new duplex.  These certainly liven up the kitchen and I am very thankful to have them as I threw out most of the old kitchen towels I had (long story, not for here lol)

There were also some really amazing pomegranates in dark chocolate in the package.  It's a funny story really--I hadn't eaten that day, and had the package in my car so after work I could have a pick-me-up.  Because it was really hot in my car they were all melty, but as savage as it sounds, I literally scooped little melted chocolate covered pomegranates from the bag and ate them as is Smiley  They were very good, and even better once I got home and threw them into the fridge for a cool down Smiley

The last item is my favorite item because it fits me perfectly.  I love stripes, I love euro shams, and I love upcycled projects.  This pillow case used to be a sweater I believe she said, and I love the back for the euro sham closure feel.  I like how the stripes have not only different colors, but also different textures which makes it very interesting and complementary to nearly any room in my home.  I believe this is going to be a craft room pillow as I have decided to take a bunch of decorative pillows and use them as floor pillows in a corner to create sort of a comfy and stylish seating area Smiley Pictures show front and back:

Thank you very much Annigirl22!  You matched my tastes perfectly yet again and given me amazing and useful things for my new duplex apartment Smiley

Here is my package from Annigirl22!  We are so similar!  I found a use and place for everything from package one, and I'm in love with so many things! I apologize for the somewhat not so good photos.  I have lost the charger cord to my camera that hooks up to my computer.  I could just buy a new one, but I have a lot of fun taking pictures with my 3DS, I just haven't mastered it yet Smiley
I received:
----pretty angel yarn in orange due to always knitting or crocheting.
----coconut lotion which makes me hungry because it smells so good and that is her "all time fave."
----Seasoning for cooking hobby
----2 beaded bracelets in some of her favorite pretty colors.
----lychees for the sentimental category, still not sure what they are, but I will look into it Smiley
----leather bracelet as a story, from an old friend, passed to a new friend.
----Tom's deoderant, her fave, which smells like burts bees mixed with lavender, and works very well.
----A cute purse she found thrifting, which is exactly like hers--I love the sequin detail Smiley

Now onto the photos:
Group Shot!

Yarn which looks so much better in person than in this photo.

Seasoning on far right with some of my other seasonings:

I am the first to post my package from Sarahelise!

This is a picture of everything together!

This is by far my favorite item!  It's currently on my entertainment center where everyone can see it when they come in Smiley

These are some cute brooch/pins that I love Smiley  Thinking of using them as a home accessory and alternating them with outfits that they go with Smiley  I may even clip them onto my purse!

I requested fingerless gloves, and these are amazing!  I love the colors, the softness of the yarn and the amazing fit.  I would wear them all the time if I could!

I had some security envelope tags on my wishlist on pinterest which she also made for me.  I think these are better than the ones that I had linked to Smiley

and I also got these beautiful tree appliques.  I love them and also had them linked to my pinterest.  They are so beautiful and happy!

I really liked how she packaged the chocolate and mini notebook/extras as well as everything else in really cute bags--each new item was like opening a gift

Thank you so much for sending items that I've longed for for a while, and really toning into my tastes!
