1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Crochet Christmas Tree "Scarf" Garland on: December 08, 2008 08:26:29 PM
Oh no. What have you done to me!? >.<

Now I have to go knit a scarf for my Christmas tree!!!

Seriously, though, this is AWESOME. You did a brilliant job and the colors just look gorgeous with your decorations () I think it's very, very awesome! Kudo's to you for your inspired idea and your bravery!

Great job *nod nod* Hitting this rocks!
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Felt Christmas Ornaments! on: December 08, 2008 08:01:49 PM
I'm a terrible person but all I can think of is "destructive kitty is destructive" XD

Seriously though, that is a fantastic idea, and I bet it would work really well for families who have little ones (probably about 3 and under) running around and are afraid of them getting hurt. I know I was always scared to death of my brother latching on to the tree when he was a baby-toddler (I'm 7 years older than him), and the one year he actually did but anyways...

I really love these. You did a beautiful job with the patterns and making them all unique. They're so fun and festive. I may make a few this year just because I can Smiley
3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: My first RL collage (img heavish) on: December 08, 2008 07:58:48 PM
Ah! I'm so tickled! I haven't been on Crafster in awhile so I just saw this, and it caught my eye because I recognized your work from DeviantArt! () You have such a distinct style and it's so beautiful! Smiley I had to poke my head in here, it was just too neat that I found you hear the day after I found you at DevArt XD
4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Boomkin! (Pic Heavy) on: November 28, 2008 12:01:44 AM
As a fellow WoW Player who loves Boomkins, let me just say: THAT IS TOTALLY WICKED! <3 Is there any chance you'd be willing to share the pattern you made in your head? My whole family plays WoW, including my Grandmother, and she's our resident Boomkin. But she's on a fixed income so she can't buy WoW swag like the rest of us and I think she'd get a real kick out of this Smiley

(Not to mention, I want one for myself XD)

OH! And you should put him on Ravelry! Grin

P.S. In case you didn't know, you got featured on WoWInsider! (http://www.wowinsider.com/2008/11/27/world-of-warcrafts-crochet-boomkin/)

5  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Re: Charlie Brown Pumpkin on: August 23, 2008 12:40:46 PM
Considering I had one of the pictures from The Great Pumpkin on my *wedding* invitations, there is no possible way on earth I could not love this project. It is too amazing beyond words. I am in awe. If I was good enough, I'd so make one myself. Smiley
6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Mario Mushroom Cross Stitch on: August 23, 2008 12:35:54 PM
That is so freakin' cool and the frame is so awesome. Great job!
7  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: WOW Dwarf Priest on: August 23, 2008 12:34:50 PM
As a WoW Addict since Beta, and a diehard Craft-Lover, I give this 11 out of 10 points! The fact that you got all that detail into such a small project, with SCULPEY, is AMAZING. The love, detail, and effort you put into this project should get you the "Best Friend Ever" award.

Seriously, that is amazing and you did a beautiful job.
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Rainbow Patchwork Skirt on: July 28, 2008 04:03:02 AM
Anyone who could ridicule this needs smacked upside the head with the Crafters Appreciation Stick of DOOM!

I actually made my husband stop getting ready for work to show him this. His reaction (and he's a very non-crafty guy), was "That's amazing. That's handmade? Holy &*$ it's gorgeous!"

And I, being completely inept at sewing of all kinds, am in envy, because I would *kill* to make something like that (and wear it! And I *never* wear skirts!).

Seriously, be VERY proud. that skirt is amazing and you should be very proud. I think I may just have to beg my mom to help me make one, because I seriously don't know how I can live without one, lol.
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Reversible vintage-stye apron with detachable finger towel on: July 28, 2008 03:59:00 AM
That is so adorable! And the little finger towel just adds so much class. June Cleaver would have been proud to wear this!
10  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Coptic Stitched Journal on: July 24, 2008 03:58:47 AM
I think it's absolutely gorgeous! Smiley The pages are just to die for and the cover is amazing! And to be honest, I think all crafter's need a manicure!
