I'm so sorry for being so late with the pictures!! Here is my envelope I received in all it's glory. My name and address was embroidered on the front but I covered up serious stalking potential lol. Thank you so much for an awesome swap!

6  Shopping Cart Cover in Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies by Pinky Yarn on: May 24, 2009 06:31:52 PM
I'm not really sure where to put this, feel free to move as neccesary.  Smiley

I made this using the Simplicity 4225 pattern as a basic idea. I made this one reversible. My manager's baby turned 1 recently and she asked me to make one. She bought the fabric for me. It was a really easy pattern. My boyfriend had to help me not over-think making it reversible. It has pockets on both sides and ribbon to connect it to the cart. A lovely box modeled. I really like how it turned out and my manager loved it.  Grin

9  Challah (Jewish braided bread) in Recipes and Cooking Tips by Pinky Yarn on: March 14, 2009 07:39:23 PM
I was browsing the recipes on my favorite cooking blog http://smittenkitchen.com/ and found a recipe for Challah. I've never had it or made it but it sounded yummy and I wanted to learn how to do a 6-strand braid. I over-cooked it a smidge but it still tasted really good and made wonderful french toast. I made a round braided loaf and a long braided loaf but I gave that one away before I took a picture. Heres the recipe I used: http://smittenkitchen.com/2008/09/best-challah-egg-bread/ Oh yeah, the smell while it's baking is absolutely AMAZING.

10  First full- sized quilt in Quilting: Completed Projects by Pinky Yarn on: March 14, 2009 07:35:27 PM
This is the first full-sized quilt. I made it for my mom for Christmas. I don't have a picture of it quilted, but these are the in-progress pictures. My cats wouldn't leave it alone, that's the lump in the first picture. The second picture shows the fabrics close up a bit better. I'll have to take a picture of it quilted the next time I'm over there. I don't like how it turned out but I know what to do in the future with the quilting. My mom really liked it so I guess that's what matters.
