81  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: Pattern for photo wallet on: February 14, 2010 07:11:24 PM
Little Me - Yes, that's what it looks like (although no wallet features inside of course).

The lined bag is probably along the lines of what I was thinking.  I'm realizing that an "unframed" version may be lighter, but it will also be less reinforced to protect the photos from bending.  I'll have to ponder this.

Cupcake scarf?  I'm intrigued.

Ooooh - I've had that same experience with trying to crochet with Homespun.  What a nightmare!  I ended up knitting a blanket with it instead.  It's so irresistibly soft.  This is very cute, and you're a good mom for getting it done, difficult or not.

Wow!  Thanks for bringing a big smile to my face.  I definitely agree.... you should enter this in the Tiny Challenge.
85  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / The Big Thread of "Help Me Find a Pattern, Please!" on: February 11, 2010 11:32:45 AM
Over the holidays I saw photo wallets for sale - little flat bags with metal trim and a click closure (like a big coin purse) that you could use to carry/protect photos in your purse.  My mom is always carrying her pictures around in an envelope, so I would love to make one of these for her.  Her purse is heavy already, so I want to do it without the metal.  I guess that essentially makes it a lined fabric envelope.  Anyone know of a pattern?  I'm sure I could come up with my own pattern if I had enough time to work on it, but with three small kids, there is no such thing.   Cheesy

These are adorable!  I was thinking this week about crocheting some hearts.  And I spent last night unraveling a project to re-use the yarn, and it's this exact same yarn!  It must be destiny.

Just too cute!  Where did you get the pattern for the cat and dog faces?  I'm part of a crochet group that makes things for Animal Allies (an animal rescue group) to sell, and these would be great for them.

I'm sure some little girl is treasuring this wonderful collection.  I love the food - especially the pizza!  This is an old post, so you don't have them in your shop on Etsy anymore.   Cry  Your spa set reminded me that I've been meaning to come up with a pattern to make something similar for my daughters' dolls.

Too darn cute!  I just bought some cute socks to make my daughter a sock monkey.  Maybe I should re-think my plans....
