11  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Q is for Quinn on: July 15, 2008 02:53:01 PM
I love his hair! Too cute! :-D
12  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: my keyboard, my purse on: July 15, 2008 01:20:27 PM
I've tried to do keyboardy stuff before, but I'm too impatient to keep all the keys the same width. So extra well done for that! :-)
13  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: I made a Bra! on: July 13, 2008 05:48:25 PM
Wow! I would never have thought of making my own bra, somehow that just never occurred to me.. every other piece of clothing, sure.. but not bras for some reason?
Anyway, that looks really comfy and like it fits well. I will have to give this a go when I get chance.. I find I don't get enough support from most bras, and things bounce around a bit. Not fun!
14  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Passport Save the Dates! (Picture-Heavy) on: July 12, 2008 01:57:07 PM
That is a totally amazing idea, and really well done! I think the middle pages look great how they are, don't worry about them! Possibly a slightly wider middle margin could help if you are really bothered, but people will be so wowed that they won't notice. You'll have plenty more to worry about soon. Like how you go one up for the actual invitations! Fake plane tickets?
15  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: remy from ratatouille!* NOW WITH FREE PATTERN!!!* on: July 10, 2008 03:00:57 PM
Thanks ever so much for this pattern, it was one of the best I've used in a while.
I made a Remy for my Dad, who is a chef, for his 60th birthday, along with 59 other presents. He loved him, and he now has pride of place on the mantelpiece.

Thanks again!
16  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Love, Your Geek on: July 10, 2008 02:53:17 PM
That's fantastic. I understand it, and would love someone to have made it for me.
My husband normally doesn't like cross-stitch, he says "it doesn't look right" but when I showed him this, he liked it because it looked pixelly... what a geek!
17  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Bow before the Flying Spaghetti Monster! on: July 10, 2008 02:48:53 PM

That is amazing! I'd put up with a tree, if I had a spaghetti monster to put on it. :-D

If you don't mind me asking, your googly eyes look huge - where did you get them? I had one pair that big, but haven't been able to find any more Sad

18  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Peas on Earth Cards on: November 21, 2007 02:04:36 AM
Hey, these look really good - very funny too :-)

I think that the plain red one looks best - for two reasons - i think there's enough pattern on there with the maps all ready, the others distract you from that. And I like the way it's over hanging the earth, that looks good - and covers less map, too!
19  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: What is freezer paper?! Eek help! on: November 15, 2007 07:32:12 AM
Hi! I've been lurking for yonks, finally got something worth saying!

After *lots* of searching, I found this website: http://www.sewessential.co.uk/   who sell freezer paper in rolls of 50sq ft, for 5.75 and 2 postage.

They were really fast too - I ordered it Tuesday night, and it arrived here  in Guernsey today (Thursday).

Hope this info is useful to someone else, too!
