This is genius!! I'm going to use it in my medicine cabinet! I have tons of prescriptions and they are top heavy so they always fall over and out and DRIVE ME CRAZY!! THANK YOU!!!
22  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Corset! Fourth try, first perfected :D on: December 02, 2009 10:12:05 AM
Lovely!! I don't think I've ever seen such a nice looking corset with cable ties! From the back view it looks like it might be tweeking a little bit, although it may just be the way she is standing. If it is tweeking she is probably not symmetrical (which most people are not). To fix this you need to measure each half (left and right) of her separately and have different pattern pieces for each side of the corset.

I wonder if we have enough Fats on here to do a Fatsionista swap!!
24  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Grumpy care bear on: October 30, 2009 12:51:28 PM
Awesome!! I actually made this as a last minute costume last year by sewing a padded circle and appliqueing on the cloud and rain and then pinning it to a grey hoodie. I took rubber bands to make ears on the hood and a tail. It was great! I ended up leaving it on my hoodie for months.

They both look amazing, but I hate shrimp and LOVE pork.. sorry.

Also, it's MUCH easier to cut or break up bacon AFTER it's cooked.

Amazing job! It looks so very professional. Did you use a casing for the shirring or the elastic bobbin thread? If casing, how wide of elastic did you use?

My eldest just told me today that she wanted someone to make pickle flavored candy. This is the next best thing and far easier!! Thanks!

I think it's great!! Although with hanky hems I prefer to not have a point dead center in the middle, I think it looks odd.

To the breast issue... I'm not sure why someone would think that it's more appropriate to show enhanced cleavage but not natural breast lines! Somehow it is less risque to shape your breasts using a bra into cleavage that is rarely if ever actually attainable in nature. Let's stop perpetuating a false female form!! Your breasts look amazing and don't let anyone tell you that they should be shoved into a bra all the time!!!
