71  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Pink and Brown Pleatness on: December 17, 2007 05:05:22 PM
I made this for a girl at work who loves pink. I took the pleatness pattern and made a few modifications. No zipper on top, the girl I made it for likes her bag open and its a little taller, also a kleenex cozy and a pouch to put misc items in for privacy.

Purse full

Thanks for looking,
Judy
72  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Personalized doilies on: December 11, 2007 04:02:23 PM
I made these for the girls at work for Christmas. They have seen some that I have made for other people and were drooling over them so I am sure they will most likey put them in a picture frame with matting.

Comments welcome!

73  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Not afraid of zippers anymore! 2 new purses and zippered pouches on: December 10, 2007 07:57:45 PM
These are for the girls at work for Christmas. They both have a large pocket on the front of the bag with a magnetic clasp, both have lined zipper pockets (yippee, my first!), they also both have a cell phone pocket, misc pocket and a place for 3 pens or pencils. I also made matching kleenex holders and small zippered pouches for each.

This is my first zippered bag! (I am now best friends with my seam ripper  Cheesy )

This one has a special loop for her keys (she has a hook like this one on her keyring)

74  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Purse with matching wallet and tissue holder on: December 02, 2007 09:22:46 PM
My girlfriend asked if I could make a bag for her daughter for Christmas, of course I could! I used a pair of her shorts (girls size 7), lined them with a polka dot fabric that my friend picked out, made a matching easy peasy wallet and travel tissue holder. I hope she will love them.  Smiley

Front view, she will be able to use the front pockets.

Back view, she can use these pockets also.

Inside - I put my stuff inside so you could see the size.

Easy Peasy Wallet and travel tissue holder

What do you think?

75  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Bag for cruise on: November 22, 2007 08:00:52 PM
My son and DIL are going on a cruise and she asked me if I could make her a bag that she could carry across her body when they dock in port to carry their souvenirs in. I asked her what color and she said black so my son would carry it also, but black is so boring so this is what I came up with (they are both big Chicago Bear fans).

76  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Four Christmas Placemat Bags (image heavy) on: November 22, 2007 07:37:50 PM
The first two bags I made for my girlfriends at work, I hope they like them! They are both made with two mats and I lined them.

The handle is a drape tieback.

Good ole Santa.....

I braided cording for the handle.

Here is one that I am keeping for myself, it is one and a half placemat, I used the half for the sides because I wanted it longer and shorter than the first ones. I braided cording for the handles for this bag.

This bag is the very first bag I made, it is one placemat, the handles are drape tie backs and I added a liner, I gave it to my mom.

Sorry for the bluuuurrrrrrr........

Thanks for looking,
Judy
