12  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / 2 of 2 graduation Quilt on: June 08, 2010 05:35:20 PM
Here is the 2nd graduation quilt for my other niece, I am happy to say she almost started crying she loved it so much! I normally dont do anything but squares or rectangles because I rush through my work and dont use pins.. but with this quilt I learned that pins are my friend! I am so happy that my points all match up! This is by far my best quilt ever!  I post a lot of pics because I like to see a lot of pics on other peoples work!

14  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Three Quilt's for Luke's Benefit on: April 25, 2010 12:56:30 PM
These were made for a benefit for my hubby's cousin (10 years old) who had leukemia, the benefit was a great help for the family but unfortunately Luke lost his battle the week after the benefit.

These were all done with an iron on batting instead of the basting spray...... oh my goodness, LOVE IT!!! Got it at Joann's and it is the same price as regular batting!  Wink

15  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / We all have a dear hubby or know one! on: March 07, 2010 02:44:47 PM
So I planned on making this for a co-worker of dear hubby... I started it last Monday, asked dear hubby when was the baby shower... "humm, don't know, I don't think she is due for awhile"... Wednesday he called me at 5 and asked "when will you be done with the baby quilt?" I said "I was probably going to work on it this weekend.......why?"........pause........ "the baby shower is tomorrow", he says.... men.........! So guess what I did? finished it that night! She loved it, that is all that matters.  Wink

16  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Rainbows on: February 05, 2010 01:58:41 PM
This was long ago promised to my son's fiance and I just got it finished so since she waited so graciously I made her a matching crocheted pillow! She flipped when she saw it, rainbows are her favorite thing!

I used basting spray for the first time and I love it!!! I don't have any creases in the back and it quilted so easily. I will be using that stuff again!!!!
