I received the USM for Christmas as well.  Unfortunately I have only been able to play around with it a little.  The videos are in VHS format and we only have a DVD player so I googled and came up with the following video links.

The files are huge and require Real Player (you can download for free) to view.

I thought I recognized this picture from somewhere before: http://youknitwhat.blogspot.com/2005/12/whores-who-knit-vol-157.html

Although the site I found it on gives no clue where to find it.

I love the way your Clappy drapes!!

I used Brooks Farm 4-play for mine (http://brooksfarmyarn.com/cart/index.php?cPath=33&osCsid=8b7b79fae3de1f52e49a9815296c3649) and although I absolutely LOVE the yarn I picked,  the clappy is so thick it feels like a big fat python wrapped around my neck.  Perhaps I need to make a second one, oh the powerly lure of the clappy!  Everyone needs at least 2 right?

Subloke, your hats look great!

This hat has brought me to tears, ugh!  I have attempted the medium size hat at least 6 times now and end with a trip to the frog pond after realizing something has gone wrong.  Dropped stitches, knitting the wrong round of brioche stitch or coming up rows short in the crown.  In the decrease rounds, when it says "Work 3 rnds even in patt" does this mean just 3 rows or does even mean something else?

Seeing someone else's hats completed makes me realize the issue must be me.  Perhaps I am just missing some major element while I am knitting or highly distracted by my 1 year old running around - yeah I blame my daughter.  Wink

booglass... my second FMB and I came out with a nip as well.  From what I can tell I cast on 6 instead of the required 8 stitches which in turn gave me the nipple effect.  I have moved on into the MC portion of the bag and nipple be damned I plan on finishing it as is.  Besides it is a gift for my MiL and I doubt she will notice.
