1  Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by nana346 on: September 11, 2009 09:15:07 PM
I am FINALLY posting pictures! Sorry for being so late  Tongue

Here is the super funny catnip toy. The other side has a picture of Riley. I wrote that Dawn and Riley were my least favorite characters so now my kitty can scratch away at them  Cheesy

Amazing Knitting and Crochet Stich markers. Yeah!

So, this next item has to be the most epic thing ever. It's Mister Pointy!!

An adorable pink shirt (I'm wearing it as I type this  Grin) that says "Every night I save you" on the front with the Buffy logo on the back. Here is a picture of the front font. Love it!

Bookmarks with quotes on them. They crack me up! My favorite picture is the one with Spike and Giles:

(Just a warning, that black thing may look like a bug, but it's just some lint  Wink)

I also got some yummy syrup and maple candy things that were quickly consumed  Smiley

Best. Partner. Ever!

2  Sweeney Todd and video games. Could life get any better? IMG Heavy in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by nana346 on: October 17, 2008 08:34:25 AM
Well, I finally got to fix my camera so I am uploading all of my recent crafts! Here are some quick shirts I did:

The first one is Sweeney Todd! It used to be a mens large white tee shirt; I just altered the sleeves and neckline and took it in. But for a fun little bonus....I put Sweeney on the corner! My family recently got a steam press and I was itching to try it out.  Cheesy

And just for kicks and giggles, here is a closeup of Sweeney. Jeez, that man is gorgeous!  Cheesy

And for my next recon, my whole family is in the video game industry so there are frequently a lot of free game shirts being passed around from conventions.  For this one, I just cut up the neckline to make it a boat neck style, added different sleeves, and put trim on the bottom.

Here is the front:

And the back:

The sleeves are equal size in real life; I just took this at a weird angle...

Thanks for looking!  Grin

Well, my camera freaking broke so I haven't been able to post pictures.  Angry After giving up on fixing it, I decided to just take pictures with my phone. Sorry for the crappy quality! It really doesn't capture just how amazing this stuff is! Thank you so much great_heights!!

First we have....BATARANGS!!!!

Next are two freaking adorable dolls! They keep me company while I do homework

And here we have a BEAUTIFUL picture of the Joker!

Finally, my favorite thing...a Joker shirt! I wore it to a party and it pretty much blew everyone away

4  Little Mermaid and Nascar dresses in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by nana346 on: July 28, 2008 02:06:52 PM
I made this Little Mermaid/puppy love dress a while ago but I just got around to taking pictures of it. It is the ultimate summer dress and I love the looks I get when I wear it in public  Cheesy

And now the Nascar dress! I bought the top part as a shirt a while ago and it didn't fit me right at all. So, I found the skirt fabric in my closet and I made this!

You can't see it but there are panels up the sides with the same fabric as the skirt. It also doesn't look all funky on the chest area on me

My problem with this one is that it seems like there is something missing, but I don't know what...any tips?

5  Nascar picture bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by nana346 on: June 17, 2008 02:22:02 PM
I made this bag about a year ago. Basically what I did was I got a blank canvas tote, cut out pictures from my NASCAR magazines, and then covered them all with clear tape. I love this bag so much and it is really funny to see people's reactions to it when they see it!

The front:

The back:

6  Blue high-waist skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by nana346 on: June 17, 2008 02:15:32 PM
So, I have been a member of Craftster for almost a year now and I am just starting to post here. I guess you could call me lazy...

...anyways! This skirt was inspired by these two projects

and I came up with this! It took me about an hour and a half and I used fabric that I found lying around my sewing room.

Here it is on the sewing dummy:

And here it is on me!

Sorry about the crappy quality of the pictures; I lost my camera and I had to use my phone

Thanks for looking!
