I received 2 wonderful packages this week!
1st from Shelanie..
Adorable little bags & an awesome pot holder.

Check out this adorable fabric!

Feast Your Eyes sent me this amazing package for my DD. You really outdid yourself, thanks again! My DD is thrilled.
Feast your eyes on this!

Messenger bag, wristlet, earrings & necklace.

Close up of jewelry:

Amazing details on the bag, look at that applique!

And the wristlet... I may steal it. Wink

14  Owly sewing book in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Terracruz on: March 09, 2010 11:05:30 PM
I made this for OWS #56 but I just going to share it here.  Wink
I saw something similar on someone's wist. It was just a thumbnail but I really liked it.
All the fabric is from my stash (buttons, felt & rick rak too) and the gingham, chenille and floral are all from a reclaimed Baby Lulu dress.

The little flap inside lifts up to make it easy to store & remove your pins.
I'm sorry the colors are a little washed out -- I want to get this in the mail tomorrow am so I had to go with the nighttime light in the house.

17  Re: Magic Yarn Ball Swap Round 12 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Terracruz on: February 05, 2010 05:30:08 PM
I got mine today!!
Imagine my surprise when the mailman delivered the same box I sent to Megan!

Let's cut to the chase.. I known you all want to see the photos.

Here's what was on the top of easily picked out while at work! Minus the chocolate.. the guys at work attacked it.. after I had to take 10m to explain a Magic Yarn Ball. They really thought this was an "old lady" sport! LOL!

Mario stitch markers! And a monster tape measure! I've always wanted one! I love them so.  Also, see the adorable sheep pattern!

My Daughter with the Yarn RECTANGLE!

Look at all these fabulous goodies!! They were all wound up! Mari adn I took about 45m to get it all out. Best part.. she learned to wind a ball. Smiley What fun!

Here are all the handmades. Megan.. thank you so much! I love it all! What cute cupcake fabric for my crochet roll (which I was hoping for!) and the X-stitch is amazing. It's so naughty! I just love it. It's going on the wall right above my nightstand!!

Thanks so much!

I am thrilled to report that I have finished my 1st project! And only did I dip into some coveted fabric that I had been saving (for what?) I also used ribbon from my scrapbooking stash (and boy do I have a stash, I used to be on a design team!)

20  Simple Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Terracruz on: October 28, 2009 10:39:43 PM
So it's nothing fabulous but my DD loves it. And I'm madly in love with the fabric.
I wasn't able to tear it way from her to get a good photo of the pencil pockets inside the outside pocket. There is also a pocket inside hanging from the top hem.
I did not line the bag but I did use a neat & clean french seam.
