1  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Re: Project Runway (it's back!) on: December 24, 2005 07:20:50 PM
I just discovered this show and watched the 1st three episodes of the season today.  Daniel F's designs were so classic!  I was really sad to see him go.  Santino is is embarrassing to watch because of his attitude, but I love almost all of his designs (except the Heidii lingerie!)

Aw that dress is so sweet!  That's also one of the better jeans-to-skirts I've seen Smiley

and I love my Grandfather's reaction to the shirt: "Why is there an ugly man on your shirt?"

I got all my loot (there was A LOT) from Dragonmaid!  Here are some photos:

Alice and the Queen of Hearts customized dolls

Close-up of the queen

Stickers, two magnets, and a playing card pin

Little books

With blank paper inside

There was also a stuffed walrus, and I hope I didn't forget anything

5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Extreme newbie question about cross stitch patterns on: July 14, 2005 09:39:03 PM
So I have a cross stitch pattern and my fabric...am I just supposed to look at my pattern and follow it when I'm crosstitching?  Or do I like transfer it in some way....ah I know this is so simple I just want to make sure I'm doing it the right way!!!
6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: YET ANOTHER Pimpin' tellular celephone on: June 20, 2005 09:36:10 PM
Wow you did a beautiful  job!  Did you do that back too?  And what glue did you use? I really want to do something to spice up my cell phone.  I just watched the behind the music for the backstreet boys, I was never really a fan but they do have an interesting story, I'm sure it will be awesome to meet them.
7  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Stencils and inspiration.. on: June 19, 2005 06:24:23 PM
they do seem very rude there.  a lot of people in the the stencilry community on LJ are rude too.
i'd suggest just using those sites for the info that's there, and not to speak to anyone...

I find most livejournal communities to be very rude and it is upsetting!  That's why I usually stick to craftster, everyone's so positive here Cheesy

Anyway to keep this on topic I ran across this photobucket account, i dont know whose it is:

8  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: I'm tired of my yarn/fabric swap Sign up (June 15-June 22 Send by June 28) on: June 17, 2005 08:25:22 PM
what size are the scraps?? I was hoping people wouldn't be sending anything under half a yard.

That sounds like a good rule, I'll check out what I have.  Thanks for the answers Smiley

You really make me want to buy some dark t-shirt transfers.  Did they come out plastic looking at all?  Because they really don't look like it.  Your cutting job is awesome as well, they all look very professional.

Can I sign up if I only have fabric, and no yarn to send?  And I could send several different fabric scraps (of usable size) to add up to the 1.5 yards, correct?
