6  tank top w/ safety pins in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Radiate_the_light on: June 02, 2008 08:16:14 PM
Ok i had a big t shirt and i wanted to do something to it. I am not a great sewer and my sewing machine cant handle t shirt fabric so i free handed it. It turned out ok considering i completly refitted it. I added on safety pins on the tank sleeves. I also made a red skirt thats already posted but there wasn much sewing to it, just a stitch hear and there to hold ittogether.
this is a close up of the top

i couln get a good picture sorry

Haha my awsome sewwing skilllz, this is my first project by the way

iv been wearing this out fishing, its hot in Texas =) and a tank comes in handy. So far iv worn it only 3 times but its held together nicely

7  XXXXL shirt=slited red skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Radiate_the_light on: March 24, 2008 07:00:15 PM
Cheesy I love love love this skirt its gorgeous, my self timer makes me look bigger and i have noone to take a picture so this is as good as its getting the red is hard to get on my camera but its really bright and would be perfect for a little red dress i had enough fabric but also made a shirt.....yeah not so pretty but heres the skirt....

This is the skirt on the bed/floor....

This is how the bottom drapes

on me

hehe iz got tummy pouch showing lol

Tshirt(ususlly needs a larger one at least for my big butt)
Safety pins
Needle and thread

1.Front:Only threw front of shirt

2.Flip it over:Cut directly under the collar.
3.cut off the hem at the bottom to make it curl and look ruff(optional)
4.cut threw the sides below were the arm holes should be
5.Then Fun part rap it around your waist and use pins to mark were it should be sewn,Slip it off Cheesy
6.At this point i used safety pins and pinned some places together, but i hand stitched the same part to keep it from falling off and sewed the ruffle together
7. Try it on and see if it fits Grin Next project lol

Comments and CONSTRUCTIVE critisizum please be gentle ha
