1  Re: Doctor Who and Spin Offs Swap Round 3 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by alwaysblushing on: June 24, 2008 12:29:59 PM
My camera has been found, yay, and here are the fantastic goodies I received from kaishabackwards!
Everything in one shot.

I love the shirt, it's wrinkled from being worn so much(I took a action shot in in but it came out really blurry)

the magnet on my fridge

the mug(it's hard to see but it has all ten doctors on there) and sonic screwdriver that doubles as a pen! I'm so impressed that she made it herself(The Doctor would be proud)

p.s. stolendreams I p.m.ed you about being a angel for this swap.

Finally able to post the fantastic package from the equally amazing pinkleo!

Shot of everything wrapped up, along with a tote and quill pen!

Inside the packages were handmade soaps(that smell amazing!), gorgeous bookmark and stitch markers

and extra bought goodies I wasn't expecting(pinkleo rocks!)

*Squeee!* I got my package from AbsurdAnnekuh today and I've been giddy ever since!

I got two cute notebooks(in Gryffindor and Hufflepuff colors!)

a gorgeous star necklace(it's a little hard to see in this pic, but the ribbon is yellow, which I love!)

and what I'm refusing to take off, my Weasley t-shirt!

Anne rocks! I love it all! Now I'm gonna go off and ogle all my stuff.

I didn't get to do the first two months...and because I love green(I'm probably going to do more for this month)

my second successful crocheted hat!

just cause(I actually love my slug despite the odd face I'm making)

5  Slouchtastic hat(my first successful crochet project) in Crochet: Completed Projects by alwaysblushing on: January 23, 2008 11:32:21 AM
So for a while I've been jealous of anyone who can crochet because every attempt I've made has ended it pouting and a mess of yarn that looks nothing like anything.
But somehow(maybe the crochet timelords have taken pity on me) and I actually made a hat! It's a bit more slouchy than the original pattern I saw online(or maybe I just have hobbit blood in me) either way, I've been giddy over my accomplishment ever since and will now go off to add crocheted hats to my obsession list.

6  Geeky knitting times two!(and my first knitting projects) in Knitting: Completed Projects by alwaysblushing on: December 19, 2007 05:02:37 PM
So I'm an uber nerd and most of what I'm knitting is tied in with what I read/watch. These are the first two projects I ever finished(well, finished and didn't mess up in some way) They don't match so I might redo one of them.

My Ginny hat(from GoF) and I was so giddy when it fit cause I literally did like four test runs before being able to alter the original pattern so it fit my head(it kept coming out too small cause I knit really tightly)

My Rose arm warmers(from Doctor Who-Doomsday) Sorry it's so blurry, it'll be a miracle if my hands stop shaking for two seconds. LOVE this pattern, and I was in Urban Outfitters the other day and saw ones that were nearly identical only they were like $18 or something, so I'm now extra excited that I made them myself for a fraction of the price.

And because every picture I took of myself came out way too blurry, here they both are modeled on Harry Potter puppet(such an emo  prima donna, constantly complaining, falling over and smashing everything in my room)
