1  Re: Sock &/or Glove Doll Swap - Send outs Monday 11/09/09 in The Swap Gallery by AromaRageST on: November 13, 2009 05:33:07 AM
I recieved!! Im so excited. My day got so much better when the post man knocked on my door, as Im ill and feeling incredibly yuck.
Smmarrt really spoilt me.
Heres everything after I pulled it out of the envelope

The main extras are a pair of socks, and a pair of gloves. 3 packs of chocolates and a bag of buttons.

Then we have the doll himself, hes so cute. He is a Frooble called Fringle!

and he came with a photo album full of pictures, he clearly researched where I live in preparation for coming to live here.

And then a group shot

Thank you so so much Smmarrt! The pictures really dont do everything justice, but I'm ill and want to crawl back into my bed.. with Fringle of course Smiley

2  First ever sock in Knitting: Completed Projects by AromaRageST on: September 29, 2009 07:24:11 PM
This was my first sock. I only made 1 because there were many many mistakes and it turned out too small for me. It was my first time ever using a pattern, using DPNs and doing anything more than a basic 1 colour scarf. I kind of threw myself into it and just hoped for the best and tried to learn from the mistakes I made. I found the pattern somewhere online, it was just a beginners socks pattern.

I'm now being a bit mad and attempting these http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/dalek-socks, first time using more than one colour and following a chart... rather scary!

3  Re: Altered Journal-a-long in Craftalongs by AromaRageST on: March 12, 2009 12:44:24 PM
Mine is in a plain sketchbook (its very small, maybe 3 x 5 inches) not a book, but I hope its ok to post here.
These are just a few random pages from my book.

(the writing says 'Just a small taster of brains and hearts for the people you love'.. comletely random and meaningless)
