Thank you so much! the worst part of going to home improvement stores is finding someone who actually knows something. Who knew that you don't need to know anything about home improvement to work in home improvements?  Cheesy

14  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Questions About Hairstyles! on: December 20, 2008 05:44:25 PM
Hi ladies! I was hoping one of you could help me.
My hair is driving me crazy! It needs some sort of style, I have been growing it out [I had it in a mohawk for a while]
Last year I cut off over ten and a half inches and donated it to locks of love, than shaved my head down to about a 3 on clippers.

here's the most recent pic i have, I know it's not the best but as you can tell the top is the longest and the sides are growing out. I usually just brush the top over and it almost goes to my ears. Any hairstyles anyone thinks i can grow my hair into so i have something to look forward to?
here is a pic when my hair was super short

Hi everyone, I have started to paint trays and add some slammin fabric to the inside of them. The only issue now is that I want to serve food with them so I need a way to seal the bottom. I'd perfer not to use glass on the bottom [i'm clumsy!!]. I'm trying Resin [I just mixed that poured it and it is setting out in my garage]. I'd like to stay away from resin though since it's snowing outside and well a highly ventilated place is needed..meaning I don't want to freeze my rear off! anyone have any ideas?
thank you

19  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Knitting without wool on: October 20, 2008 11:33:28 AM
Hi everyone Wink I've been a knitter on and off for the past 4years, Though this year i'm going to stick with it, I swear!
The problem that I have is that i'm terribly allergic to wool! I know it's the process that i'm allergic to since i can pet sheep and be fine  Smiley. So all wool materials are out, i'm not a fan of silk
So that leaves me knitting with arclyic and Cotton
This frustrates me to no end, I can't seem to find any arclyic or cotton yarns that i really like. Does anyone know of any hemp/cotton blend yarns? or maybe some nice arclyic?
20  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: Vegan Banana Bread Recipe? on: October 19, 2008 11:41:04 AM
I can't remember where i found this recipe at so sorry i can't give credit where credit is due! i'm sure you could leave out the chocolate chips but they make it taste soooo good. I'm sure you could leave them out if you really wanted to.

2 1/2 cup flour
1tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup veg. oil
Egg susitute equal to 3 eggs
3 large bananas
1/2 to 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325 degrees
In a med. bowl stir flour, baking soda, and salt. set aside
In a large bowl (at med. speed) beat sugar, oil and egg subsitute. Add bananas until well blended.
At a low speed beat in the flour mixture until blended
Add the chocolate chips
Than pour the batter into greased bread pans and bake 45-50mins.
Let cool 10mins.
