21  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / My Larp costume on: November 07, 2008 08:36:15 AM
Ok so we don't celebrate Halloween in the Netherlands. Which sucks big time, but I did dress up a week earlier to go out LARPING. It was really fun, and I wore the thing again to a semi-halloween party on saturday. I made the entire thing, pants, shirt, cape and backpack (which I have no pictures of) myself in a day. I didn't use any patterns.

Ok so on to the action shots. I have to put the thing on sometime to take some regular photo's. Please excuse the crappiness of the pictures. They were all taken while playing so some of them are kinda blurry. I love the action that the pictures show though.

I'm in the center. Almost everybody you see in the pictures has actually made their own costumes.

22  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Photoshoots (commentary wanted) IMG HEAVY! on: June 19, 2008 09:51:47 AM
Ok so I've been crazy about photography for a while. It's my passion, but I don't know if I'm any good.
I used these pictures for an art portofolio I did and I like them a lot. (they're taken in my schools theatre.)

Since I don't know anything about photography (I'm 100% trail and error) some constructive critisism is much appreciated.

I'll upload some more pictures as soon as I have access to a proper computer.
23  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Ground shipping USA to Europe on: June 18, 2008 06:32:35 PM
Has anyone experience ground shipping from the USA to Europe.
With what company? and what was the price?

I've been trying to figure this out but the websites only confuse me. Undecided
So I'd like to get some mouth to mouth information.

24  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Shop the swap (supplies only) on: May 13, 2008 01:06:21 PM
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a shop de swap for supplies.

I'm moving soon overseas and I can't take all my craft supplies with me but I've too much to just give it away. In this way I could collect points and later spend them when I'm back in Europe.

what would anyone think of this?

There are so many possibilities to craft (clothes, bags, show related items)

Anybody willing to join. Because I could possibly organize this.

27  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Selling custom banners/icons for etsy etc. on: March 26, 2008 08:49:22 PM
I've been working quite a lot with photoshop lately and came up with the idea to start selling custom banners and icons.
I don't have a clue about pricing though.

I'd like some help with the pricing and comments on quality are very welcome to.

Here are some examples:

Etsy banners:

And some miscellaneous:
website front page:

I've also done lots of blending work for other websites (mainly rpg) you can see the blends here:

All the etsy banners are my original photographs. The blends are just examples, because I don't have any original ones right now.
28  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / What material is this? on: March 25, 2008 09:35:48 PM
I'll be making this coat this week. My only problem. I'm a total zero when it comes to knowing my fabrics. The coat is the coat Tonks wears in the Harry Potter movie.

So could anyone tell me what kind of fabric this is?

Thank you so much!
29  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / My everything I need wallet on: March 09, 2008 07:06:13 PM
So I love travelling and writing. I have notecards with me constantly so I can write whatever. I love just taking the bus somewhere, see where I end up and start writing. Since I also have a light form of hypoglycemia I always need to take some money with me. So I came up with this little wallet.
It holds 25 notecards on one side and a pencil, money and my buscard on the other side.

Here it is:

It closes with velcro

Filled with stuff Cheesy

It's really simple to make, if anyone wants to have a tutorial. Just ask, I don't think it's really original though Tongue
30  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / strawberry pj pants (cat/pic heavy) on: March 02, 2008 01:21:18 PM
So since I'm tall (5,10) I never fit the regular pj pants you buy at a store. I decided to make a pair myself.

Note; I did this on my new sewing machine (actually it's old, but I just got it Tongue )

Close up of the fabric:

And some pictures of my cat Yuna. Who decided to go and lay down on top of the pattern while I was pinning it down.
