3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / Re: Insa Euro Pattern on: May 22, 2009 08:23:15 PM
I checked all those and they were all out of stock, but in my desperate search on ebay I searched farbenmix, rather than insa, euro pattern, etc... and found a seller who sells them all for a bit cheaper than usual.  If anyone else is interested here's the link

And I appreciate you trying to help me find it Wink

Hi all,

I'm looking for the Insa pattern and can't find it anywhere.  Does anyone know where I can buy one or have one they'd like to sell to a fellow craftster? Grin
5  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: Shirring nightmare...please help =) on: April 30, 2009 07:11:43 PM
What kind of sewing machine are you using?  I found that with mine (electronic brother machine) the elastic thread canNOT be wound by hand or else it won't work.
6  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / shirring question on: April 09, 2009 07:01:49 PM
I want to make a corset with a shirred back and need to know if the back part should be double the width, one and a half times the width or what?  Also what length stitch would work good?  I'm new to shirring so any other tips would be great too!  thanks a bunch!

Wow you're starting early Grin  Really nice dress though, I'm sure your girl will be an attention grabber in it. Wink

What's funny about this is I bought a giant red stretch velvet cape from Walmart for $4.00 (after Halloween clearance) to make my daughter an Xmas dress out of.  Now if I could just think of what kind of dress to make Roll Eyes

oh and, I can understand not wanting to touch certain fabric because I canNOT touch that really fuzzy sweatshirt fleece---gives me the heebie geebies Shocked
