1  Re: Make My Collectible Swap 2 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Ekioart on: March 30, 2012 03:32:59 PM
So glad you two liked your items ^_^

I received a Tardis from Solitary Cricket! My kids tried to take it when they saw it, but it's now safely on the top of my piano. I think it may have to be a travel companion for me every so often to be photographed in fun spots.

And inside was a box with some wonderful watch parts.

I can't wait to figure out how I want to re-purpose them, but for now, they are hanging out being timey wimey inside the tardis.

I think I may have to go swipe that lego figure back from my kids room now to join Sherlock, the Viking and other guys atop my computer now. They really do have their own little lives. lol!

Loving the new additions! The Garfield hoop is awesome ^_^

Gotta make some space on my comp so I can download my pictures of the awesome steampunk fun kriSmith sent me! Got them.
I love them. The necklace is in colors I wear often, the pendant will be wonderful with the costume tones I'm planning on using for my outfit when I get to go to a con and the two brown toned magnets are already right at home on my fridge.

I think my favorite of the four is the heart with the two gears and all the texture, it's just so very me. Thanks so much kriSmith!

Eep! A trip to the land of no internet and the addition of a puppy means I'm long overdue to post pictures of what Kaidon received. He loved everything!

The game was a big hit and has been played several times.

A sonic screwdriver! Jealous ^_^ Super adorable stuff from everyone. Maddock received but hasn't opened his package yet.

We opened this afternoon as they were just too excited.
The  card is made out of Legos!

I've been told it's the best Christmas card ever. (Jack Skellington + legos = 0-0! *Yeahhh* dance.)

An awesome vinyl reindeer ornament

and a Cars t-shirt.

This was his "cool dude" face.

There was also a map in the box of Michigan and the boys promptly spread it out to check out all the interesting places.

Fantastic package! Maddman was thrilled.

I'd be in! ^_^

Finally semi-finished my pony from the chart.

She still needs some tweaking.

Soo feeling totally spoiled here. ^_^

First there were some extra treats for halloween

With two wonderful themed atc's in the bag.
And then another extra that the kids did not immediately confiscate!

The awesome backs of the card behind her.

Some very fun magnets that were swiped and put on the fridge.

Two shiny coloring sheets- Pinkie Pie was done by mintdawn. The designs in the backgrounds are shiny and so cool!

A sheet of stickers with some now well known favs

An amazing Rarity inspired hair clip (that I'm dying to try to work into an outfit for a murder mystery party I'm going to)

and last but certainly not least...
A crocheted Fluttershy!

She's joined the other creatures on top of my computer. ^_^
Thank you so much for an amazing package mintdawn!

Bogart was there to greet us when we got home from picking the boys up from school, so they were just too excited to do homework.

So many awesome souvenirs from his trip I'm not sure where to start!

His book is just perfect for the boys, lots of info on the towns visited ^_^
Ticket stubs to the shows he got to see and places he visited. Two amazing monster plaques for their room. They both cracked up at the thought of a monster with the chicken pox.
The geode was a hit and they are still begging to crack it. A cling that Hubb has threatened to swipe for his truck and a very cool patterned reusable bag.

They Might Be Giants cd which is soo going to be the new ride home tunes! and some snapped up and devoured Bottle Cap candies.

The book was swiped to oogle for the rest of the afternoon, they love all the pictures of Bogart adventuring.

Epic partner, thank you so much kwality!

How fun ^_^ I can't wait to take the boys to WDW, I got to go when I was about 8.

We got to go to an Elephant Sanctuary this weekend. They house 13 but have 7 who are visible to the public. They were amazing. Our zoo only has two, and two of the ones at the sanctuary are babies!

This little girl was enjoying some apples.

Little was taking Penelope on an "elephant ride" when the two bull elephants started "sparring" It was extremely cute even if they were pretending to decide who was bigger/stronger.

The smiling bull is the baby who's on an Animal Planet show. {Maximus} he's much bigger even though he's younger than the baby girl above.

Afterwards we snagged a bite to eat at a new place in the town nearby.

They had great burgers.
The rest of the day was spent listening to the first state football game {we won!} and building with legos.

So many gorgeous hair accessories!

I received several days ago but have been so silly busy I haven't been able to post pics of the amazing things Larissa-Rasputin sent until now. ^_^

all the wonderful things together.
The stars and {real?} starfish are bobby pins, the flowers (which I agree, fire and crafting should go hand in hand more often! and I will be trying this soon!) are as well. So many pretty flowers!

There is a feathered hair clip and an awesome geared clip {which I use that type of clip all the time! so loving having a steampunked one ^_^}
And then....there is the amazing switcharoo headband! The purple feathered flower, peacock, purple dotted and silver bow items all slide onto a slim silver headband!

I love it all so much. Thank you!!!!!!

Sorry in advance for the avalanche of pics!
I'll post some more later of Penelope's fun at the fair prior to the 4th. ^_^ gotta get those pics off Hubby's comp.

On the 4th, the town of Piggott has a parade and a fair/picnic. Lots of politicians show up, thankfully they got rained out of the fair part...*chuckles*
We got a great seat at the start of the route, so we ended up with a big bag of candies.

The parade had your usual, pageant queens, holiday themed floats, emergency vehicles, big {and I mean tires taller than me!} tractors, and some horses, but one thing caught Penelope off guard....
...holiday confusion? What's up with that? It wasn't getting better.
I explained that this town has a huge pumpkin patch and that Halloween is celebrated quite largely here.

After the parade, we ran for the house but not before stopping to visit the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum even if just to poke around outside.
They were out enjoying the parade as well.
It rained and so we stuck out most of the rest of the day inside.

Our last day in the area was a special trip. We have a favorite museum in a town near there in Missouri. It's a kids museum and full on hands on. It's a fantastic place.
On the way there, we stopped and said hi to Mater.

First thing we did in the museum was a bit of shopping

then we delivered the mail. and stopped in to the kids cafe for a bite to eat.
Played in the light room, climbed the rock wall, hit on Jefferson, got vaporized on the sun, drove a firetruck, got inside a bubble or two,

built an arch...and watched it fall

and essentially ran a muck.

Were back in town now, where its a good bit quieter. We came home to find that our pumpkins were blooming.
