1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Discussion and Questions / Help finding a emb des site on: October 13, 2010 03:13:27 AM
Im looking for a machine embroidery design site, I found it months ago when I was searching for freebies, but now that i actually want to spend some money on designs I cant find it!

This site had loads of kawaii style emb sets, and it was a non-english site, possibly german. I remember using google translate but there still being loads of non-english phrases in the pictures & buttons.

Anybody have any ideas?

2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Lemon Party - Somewhat NSFW on: August 24, 2010 02:06:24 AM
In a vain attempt to scrub the original lemon party image from my mind (DO NOT search for it if you've never see it!! Once you see it you cant unsee it!) and to test out my new embroidery machine I created this cute little embroidery.

It used Brother PE lite to digitize the design which turned out pretty messy (and noisy to embroider), can anybody recommend an easy to use, inexpensive digitizing software?

C & C always welcome.

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Transformers Oven Mitt on: November 20, 2008 02:43:30 PM
My boyfriend loves cooking & baking so i decided to make him an oven mitt out of an old transformers t-shirt (that I decided to cut up ages ago but never got round to actually doing anything with it!!)

I used bog standard wadding and just quilted around the design, I didn't have any heat-resistant fabric so I used leather Undecided amazingly it works Smiley My bf managed to get it covered in flour and icing, I thought it was ruined but it survived the washing machine & tumble-drier!

I got the idea for the mitt shape from -

Any comments or critiques welcome!!
