1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Super easy rings 'n stuff on: May 24, 2010 09:10:34 AM
I used this:

It's very thin, very strong glue, it holds great but you have to watch out it won't or smear onto the stone (or whatever you attach to the ringbase), because you won't get it off (it will produce a matte stain, i once wasn't carefull enough with it when i glued rhinestones onto something, so all of their bling was gone Sad)

Thanks for the sweet comments!  Kiss

'Sup people reading this post.
This is a ring I made (or composed) from a semi-precious stone and a ring base. I forgot what the stone was called:

The date doesn't make sense, my camera is crazy.

This is a blue semi-precious stone + some kind of pin I turned into a ring. I removed the pin-part with tongs and filed the back until it was smooth. Then glued it to a ring base. Then there is a braided suede cord which I use as both a bracelet and a belt.

I SWEAR it's a coincidence my nailpolish, bracelet and one of my rings match. It's just a colour I'm into right now Smiley

All da ringz including a crazy yellow ring which is something I made but looks weird and wonky and won't show a close-up of Smiley

I only have easy 30 minutes or less DIY's Grin Hehe, I'm too impatient to try bigger DIY's, maybe this summer. I've wanted to learn to sew for a long time, but I think that will turn out hopeless.

Well bye people!

Together with a friend I ordere about 14 plain linen tot bag thingies to decorate. This is ma first try:

It is Jesse Hughes in permanent marker Cool inspired on his Wanna Be in LA look. I thought I could pull it of because he has such recognizable characteristics that I thought I could make him look like him...  Grin Did I succeed?
Plus I like his stache.

This is my friends creation:

I think it was based on a Sonia Rykiel design? I can't remember. She used textile paint, which I like better, so I might paint over the marker.

I've also started a bag which says I *heart* *moustache* (heart & moustache in picture form) and this image:

I do regret the last choice of bag because we came up with a phrase that is kinda similar, but cooler.

Out of your comfort zone

Bitch part is optional.

Gute bye people
6  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Bowtie Ballet pasta dish with Pic on: December 23, 2009 10:26:20 AM
Im preparing it now! Everybody loves this and everytime I need to cook they say: MAKE THE PASTA DISH! And it's SO good. Though I make it with homemade Alfredo sauce because they don't sell it in the Netherlands (at least, not that I know).

Thank you so much, I also love your site!
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Feather headband on: December 01, 2009 12:23:55 PM
Longtime lurker! Consider this my first post (my first two weren't really worthy, or something... :p)
I made a feather headband using Pinkasapeach her tutorial (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=270087.0)

On me Smiley

On my (heartshaped  Grin) pillow.

I actually never wear stuff like this but I had the goods on hands and I was bored. Plus I had these feathers laying around for aaaaaaaaages (i collected them at a farm i went to with my grandma, the chicken seriously were dotted, it was awesome  Grin)
I still need to cover the 'base' a bit, because you can see it (the darblue, it's a type of vinyl thingie which I cut out from an old purse)
