1  Re: Super easy rings 'n stuff in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by CrazyR on: May 24, 2010 09:10:34 AM
I used this:

It's very thin, very strong glue, it holds great but you have to watch out it won't or smear onto the stone (or whatever you attach to the ringbase), because you won't get it off (it will produce a matte stain, i once wasn't carefull enough with it when i glued rhinestones onto something, so all of their bling was gone Sad)

Thanks for the sweet comments!  Kiss

2  Super easy rings 'n stuff in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by CrazyR on: May 20, 2010 10:20:08 AM
'Sup people reading this post.
This is a ring I made (or composed) from a semi-precious stone and a ring base. I forgot what the stone was called:

The date doesn't make sense, my camera is crazy.

This is a blue semi-precious stone + some kind of pin I turned into a ring. I removed the pin-part with tongs and filed the back until it was smooth. Then glued it to a ring base. Then there is a braided suede cord which I use as both a bracelet and a belt.

I SWEAR it's a coincidence my nailpolish, bracelet and one of my rings match. It's just a colour I'm into right now Smiley

All da ringz including a crazy yellow ring which is something I made but looks weird and wonky and won't show a close-up of Smiley

I only have easy 30 minutes or less DIY's Grin Hehe, I'm too impatient to try bigger DIY's, maybe this summer. I've wanted to learn to sew for a long time, but I think that will turn out hopeless.

Well bye people!

4  Out of your comfort zone & IN YOUR FACE in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by CrazyR on: December 28, 2009 02:52:55 AM
Together with a friend I ordere about 14 plain linen tot bag thingies to decorate. This is ma first try:

It is Jesse Hughes in permanent marker Cool inspired on his Wanna Be in LA look. I thought I could pull it of because he has such recognizable characteristics that I thought I could make him look like him...  Grin Did I succeed?
Plus I like his stache.

This is my friends creation:

I think it was based on a Sonia Rykiel design? I can't remember. She used textile paint, which I like better, so I might paint over the marker.

I've also started a bag which says I *heart* *moustache* (heart & moustache in picture form) and this image:

I do regret the last choice of bag because we came up with a phrase that is kinda similar, but cooler.

Out of your comfort zone

Bitch part is optional.

Gute bye people

5  Feather headband in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by CrazyR on: December 01, 2009 12:23:55 PM
Longtime lurker! Consider this my first post (my first two weren't really worthy, or something... :p)
I made a feather headband using Pinkasapeach her tutorial (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=270087.0)

On me Smiley

On my (heartshaped  Grin) pillow.

I actually never wear stuff like this but I had the goods on hands and I was bored. Plus I had these feathers laying around for aaaaaaaaages (i collected them at a farm i went to with my grandma, the chicken seriously were dotted, it was awesome  Grin)
I still need to cover the 'base' a bit, because you can see it (the darblue, it's a type of vinyl thingie which I cut out from an old purse)

6  First post on craftster OMG so excited... Flowers :D in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by CrazyR on: June 01, 2008 08:10:58 AM
I have been lurking around here, for SOOOOOO long, and you guys are all so creative! I actually felt pressured to make a GREAT SUPER AMAZING first post, but I was like: what the heck!
I just wanted to show you this 'thing' (not sure how you call it, but we call it a collage Cheesy) made of like a thousand magazines, glue and scissors.
I made it for a friend from my my mother, who's addicted to alcohol. It's such a sad story, because she is really heavily addicted to alcohol, but she denies it all the time, and doesn't want to go to rehab AT ALL... She kept her job, because her boss and colleagues thought is was her only distraction form the alcohol. She had to be fired as she turned yellow because of the alcohol, and she couldn't go round working in a hospital looking all yellow and stuff... And she keeps on loosing friends my mom told me.
When I was little, I used to make a lot of drawings for her, she has two of them hanging in her toilet. So I thought I'd chear her up, and make something different as a drawing, to show her how everybody should live their lives, including her!
I made it a while back, but my mother wanted me to be there to when she gave it to her. But we were very busy, etc. etc.
But not long ago, she had to be taken up in hospital, because things were starting to look serious. So my mom told me that she wanted to give it now... before it's too late  Cry
So my mom gave it to her, and she thought it was so sweet... My mom made some copies before she gave it too, because she liked it so much.
It's a scan of a copy, so you can't see it that well, but it sparkles in some places. And the blue part is stuck on very messy, as I finished the flowery part (which also includes an undie with flower pattern  Grin) and then though it might be nice to use some blue at the top, or it would be like to much patterns and stuff...
Whatever, here it is:

Please correct my English if it's wrong, originally, I'm from Holland  Smiley

Phew.. long post for small thingy  Tongue

Well see you lataaaaaa!
