I just finished my second journal ever. i made this one for my friends birthday from an old snoopy book i bought at goodwill for like 50 cents. i poked holes in the spine(after ripping out the pages) and the folds of new paper. then i used a kind of modified copic stitch and bound them together. what do ya think?!

ok so i went and got my "picky tool" and my floss. I even figured out copic stitch! I made a journal!!

ok so i have really been wanting to make something other than scarves. so one night as i sat in bed i decieded to try and make a hat(which was origanlly sopposed to be  a scarf) anyway, i totally winged it, no one told me how or anything. it was my first attempt so its far from perfect, but i think i did a nice job firgureing it out.
 

1st i made a chain the size of a scarf(but you could make yours the circumference of your head) then i turned around as usaul and went to the circumference of my head, if that make sense. then instead of grabbing the next hole, i went to the begining and hooked it there.

then i realized it wans't getting smaller like a hat should, so i started grabbing two holes at a time instead of one to shorten the circle(you can tell when i did this and its not that even). i kept alternating and circling until there was no hole.

not the best, but hey,it'll keep your head warm!!

Hey! thanks so much for your easy tut! Heres one that i just made. the only thing i did diffrent is make it long instead of wide, and added stars!!

well so far i have only tried simplicity for clothes. although i did try the cheap its so easy its simplicity once for a bag and it turned out pretty well. i hate it though when they say it is easy when it most definatly is not! i am making my homecoming dress this year for the first time using simplicity 5238. i hope it turns out well, i only have a month(eekk!). anywho, i'll fill you in on how it went.
