Super cute! I've been meaning to make one of these sometime.

deathbeforedishes- I agree with pinokeeo. The metal would be super cute painted and it looks like there should be enough fabric left to get a pattern of sorts for the seat. I like Rustoleum Painter's Touch for spray paint. It seems to cover the best on metal with the smoothest finish.

bookstorebabe- If you didn't want to patch the seat with leather, you could just handsew it shut.

racky- can't wait to see what you paint that table. My hubby tells me stuff is junk all the time. I don't listen. Wink

Wow! So much awesomeness!

fluttermuffin- that journal cover is cute. Grow your own 10? Brilliant! I think I need one.

deathbeforedishes- that "N" is super cute.

chuges225- the Ariel tray is amazing! Fabulous! Also, I really want a Tardis apron now.

luckdragon- love the allons-y necklace. And did I mention I now really want a Tardis apron?

GlassKicker-glad you liked it and that your scissors fit! Smiley

texscrapper- I love that you used snaps instead of cinching up the stay put towels. You can use all of the towel that way. cute fishies too!

QueenNinjaMonkey- If you were still interested in sandblasting, a car repair shop that does autobody work should be able to sandblast it for you. I don't know how much it costs. My dad has a sandblaster, so I just have him do my metal stuff. Smiley

Wow, that came out nice.  How do you clean it?

I just use a damp cloth. I have had success on other chairs by pre-treating the burlap with scotch guard. Then it wipes off really nicely.

always- I haven't had any problems when I use burlap coffee sacks. regular burlap fabric from the fabric store does fray and frizz alot though.

Here's one I did before:
