1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Christmas star cards on: December 30, 2009 06:14:50 AM
Wow, these look very original.
I like how you kept the basic design very simple, because you can really see the star-construction.

2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: soundwave cross-stitch on: December 27, 2009 03:25:35 AM
I am adding to the choir here, but I totally agree.

The idea of cross-stitching a soundwave in itself is brilliant. Both for the idea and the really nice pictures it created.
The fact that you cross-stitched "I love you mamma' makes it even more adorable.

And I like the idea of cross-stiching 'secret sayings' too.
3  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Crime Fighting Carrot on: November 09, 2009 12:41:14 PM
And in addition, in the Discworld series (by Terry Pratchett) there is a 'Captain Carrot' in the City Watch.

4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Possibly the worst pie in London... on: November 01, 2009 01:49:08 AM
And of course, in addition, you managed to create a thumbnail of,.... well, a (thumb) nail.

Very well executed!
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: i finally figured out half persian!! (then i went a little nuts))) on: September 04, 2009 07:18:37 AM
I *really* like how simple yet beautiful they look.
6  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: my first post...some handmade cards on: August 21, 2009 05:20:25 AM
I don't know if you thought of the quotes yourself, but they are really good.
And in addition, they are really fitting with the 'atmosphere' of you cards.

I would probably sent these to people, if I saw them in a shop.
7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Drake's Felt Name Book (image insane!) on: July 27, 2009 07:29:23 AM
I absolutely agree with the comments of audio-astrophysics.
The pages as a whole look beautiful, but if you look a bit longer you really get engulfed in the awesome details.
The whole book fits together, and the last pages really finish it.

It's the kind of book where you partially hope it will be the most drooled-upon book ever.
And at the same time hope it will survive the years.
8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Tetris "You Complete Me" Cross Stitch on: July 24, 2009 02:18:59 AM
Wow, this is awesome.
I totally know that dooming feeling of 'uh oh, this will be a lot of work....'
But I think the end result is definitely worth it.

Your fiancee must have loved it!

9  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: I read too many mysteries =D (more pics) on: July 08, 2009 01:53:47 PM
How could I have missed this the first time round?
Must have been hidden very well :-)

I absolutely agree that this is *very* awesome.
The bookcases themselves are, but the 'book-latch' makes it even better.

Now all you need is some treasure map on the bedroom-side of the door.
