I love the Betti Page paper doll magnet set, sooo cool!  I want one of those for my fridge, or the espresso machine at work! Grin
14  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Irish print pj pants for hubby on: February 16, 2008 11:06:32 PM
Being pretty new to sewing I of course decided to make clothing for someone other than me, lol! Wink Pj pants were one of the easiest things I could think of, so my hubby got a new pair! Cheesy  I made them from an Irish print cotton fabric (you can see a bit of his red beard in one of the pics).  The pattern was simplicity, but I don't remember the number.  Not too happy with it because it is a bit too low rise for a guy, IMHO.  Oh well, he loves me so he is wearing them! Grin (even let me get a couple of pics!)

The cuff is actually the same on both pant legs, just bunched in pic.

This kinda shows the print better, can't get the fabric closeup pic to load Tongue

Beautiful colors, and jewelry! Smiley I'm sure she'll love them.
16  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Quilt from discarded fabric store samples on: February 16, 2008 10:21:39 PM
She did an awesome job, love the way she put all of the colors together.  Hand sewn quilting is an art, I am lucky enough to have one that my great grandmother did.  Smiley  Tell your mom that she rocks! Smiley
17  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Mushroom and broccoli and lambs hairclips OH MY!!! on: February 16, 2008 10:14:01 PM
I love them all!  Very cute, I wear clips a lot and I would love to wear those!  Grin
18  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: First post - my 'mixed reviews' top on: February 10, 2008 11:43:43 AM
You did a great job on that top, looks great on you! Grin I have to agree with some of the comments on the colors, I think the colors are a bit bright for the style of top it is.  I think it would look good in a calico print in an earth tone like olive green.  Just my opinion, I dress kinda boring. Roll Eyes Keep sewing!
19  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Dress for SnowDaze!! on: February 10, 2008 11:33:59 AM
You did an awesome job, perfect material and colors for a winter dance!  Looks great on you! Smiley
20  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Just in time for Valentine's Day dress (pics) on: February 10, 2008 11:29:26 AM
I love it!  Grin You did a great job designing the top, I like it the way it is.  My only suggestion is maybe the addition of a belt of some kind; possibly a piece of wide ribbon that could be tied and left to hang longer in the back?  Cream would look good with pearls, or black.  Love it! Smiley
