1  Jump on the Perler wagon -- Final Fantasy 1 retro coasters in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by spoonymog on: December 26, 2007 12:30:27 AM
I made these for our house for a Christmas suprise:

They are 14 X 14 and some of the backgrounds glow in the dark. The controller 'box' is 12 X 25 and the back and sides glow in the dark. They will go in our game room....

2  X-rated pinup girl hanky in Crochet: Completed Projects by spoonymog on: December 21, 2007 04:55:00 PM
As more of a knitter and less of a crochet-er I am apprehensive to show my first real project... but this is the reason I learned how to crochet, so I can make a naughty hanky for my girlfriend. She's really into Bettie and so I thought this would be perfect.

I was inspired by this post -> https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=164527.0

Okay, here it is...

and here is a link to whats under **ADULT CONTENT**

It was a blank hanky, I used an iron-on transfer I printed and then I crocheted the dress in single and double to fit her body. Then I stiched the dress on top.
What do you think?

4  Thai Shoulder Reverseable Pin-up Girl Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by spoonymog on: November 05, 2007 12:43:15 PM
One of my friends bought a Thai shoulder bag from a shop in BC and it looked really simple to make so I thought I would make it my first real sewing project. I found some great pinup girl fabric and some nice green cotton and went at it! Now I have a fantastic bag for shopping at the market!

If enough people are in interested I suppose I could put up the pattern I made from the top of my head.

Thanks for looking!

5  Reversible Hobo Bag Proto-type in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by spoonymog on: November 04, 2007 10:48:37 PM
I made this tonight out of some fabric my girlfriend had previously made slipcovers out of, my intent was to see if a pattern for a hobo bag I had in mind worked out before I used my $20 a meter fabric.

I think it did, but this is my first ever bag project so if there are any suggestions or tips on making these, that would be fantabulous.

Thanks for looking!

7  My version of the Thorax cake (human torso cake). Edit: now with cut open picy. in Halloween Decor and Parties by spoonymog on: November 01, 2007 09:31:15 PM
Here is the thorax cake I made for our halloween potluck/murder mystery party this year:

It started out as this:

Liver and heart are cherry cake, the kidneys and lungs are dark choco cake, and the stomach was white cake with sprinkles. The ribs were melted white chocolete. The blood and gore were a mixture of corn syrup and glaze icing tinted red.

Then went on to this:

And in the end was this:

Cut open and in action:

For the party I also made:

Martha Stewart Egg Sacks:

Fun Fun Fun.

BTW I got the idea for the Thorax Cake here:http://www.theyrecoming.com/extras/pumpkinfest03/
