131  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Patriotic Bunn-ay! on: March 05, 2008 06:49:56 PM
So I was asked to make a RWB bunn-ay for someone and here he is. I think he turned out pretty well. I wanted to do felt eyes, as I think they would have been more noticeable on the blue, but she wanted plastic eyes. So here is the BUNN-AY!

and one with diet coke can for size reference

Let me know what you think! Smiley

133  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Funky hippo and rhino stuffed animals (Sunshine & Bumpy) on: February 27, 2008 07:11:15 AM
So I found this shirt at the thrift store and the fabric was calling to me!  Wink I HAD to get it and I turned it into a super rad hippo! I call her Sunshine! The fabric is stretchy, maybe spandex? It was not the greatest to work with, but I LOVE the end result! So here is Sunshine!

And her friend, Bumpy is next. She is a rhino made from some fabric, also a great thrift store find! It is denim with bumps of color in patterns all over it. I think she turned out great too!

136  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Stripey Bunny Baby Rattles (crochet amigurumi style) on: February 23, 2008 04:47:32 PM
So I decided to make some cute stripey bunnies, but when I had finished the heads and bodies, I was thinking, hey these would make cute baby toy or rattles. So add a jingle bell inside and voila!
Let me know what you think!

Thanks for looking! Any feedback would be great!

138  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Yo Gabba Gabba Felt Stuffy *Foofa* (the pink girly) on: February 16, 2008 02:18:23 AM
Okay, so I had already crocheted Muno (the red one) for a friend's 4 year old's b'day, but I decided she needed the girl too. But I decided this 2 hours before the party.... So instead of crocheting her, I drew her onto felt and sewed her up! I think she is kinda cute! Let me know what you guys think!   Roll Eyes

~~~The b'day girl loved her and another little girl was screaming "Let me see Foofa!"! SO, I guess it turned out pretty well! Smiley~~~
140  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Super Mario Valentines Box (for son to use at school) WARN:IMG HEAVY on: February 09, 2008 10:50:36 PM
Okay, so his homework was to do a "family" project where we work together and make a box for him to collect his valentines at school. Well, I am currently sick and I was still trying to make it creative. Not my best effort, but he got to help me and he loves it! And if you notice, the top of the box has my son "as" Mario, I used a photo program to put his face on Mario! This project was done by half kid(6yr old)/ half adult, so go easy on us! Smiley
