21  My Dwight Army of Champions (Dwight Schrute) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by multibeavo on: May 31, 2010 12:20:04 AM
My Aunt asked me to make 3 Dwights for her to place on the desks of her unsuspecting coworkers. This is my second attempt at an amigurumi Dwight Schrute. The 1st attempt was good, but I think these are better! Smiley He comes with a few accessories attached and a few in his briefcase.  He is wearing a dorky calculator watch, holding a beet and his bobblehead Dwight.  He is also sporting his office security name badge which says "Dwight Fart Schrute" and labels him a security threat.  In his briefcase is the Sexual Predator flyer and a Schrute buck. I had fun making these and while it did take many hours to get them just right, it was so worth it!  Grin

22  Necessities for Japanese Preschool in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by multibeavo on: April 11, 2010 10:36:37 PM
My daughter is about to start preschool at a Japanese preschool and there was a list of supplies I needed to get. When I took the list to the store I was led to the elastic section of the store. Yikes. Looks like I need to make the stuff. They needed a cup bag, a jump rope bag and an eye mask & pouch to keep it in. They do sell cup bags, but none of them were padded and they insisted that she have a ceramic cup, so I decided to make that bag too. I let my daughter pick the fabric and then set to work.

So here are her preschool supplies. Smiley

A friend asked me if I could crochet a Nun doll for her daughter for Easter.  I used parts of different doll patterns and then just made up the rest. I think it turned out pretty cute! Smiley

24  Tube Sock Snowmen in Winter Holidays by multibeavo on: December 22, 2009 04:20:00 PM

We used a mens tube sock, rice, rubberbands, hot glue & accessories. You fill the sock with some rice and tie it off with a rubberband 3 times. Then fold the top of the sock down to make the hat. Hot glue the hat down around the head to keep it in place and add accessories to make face, buttons & decorations. It was fun to make and they are super cute!
