1  Re: bookbinding and microsoft word = compatable?? in Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions by teri on: December 26, 2006 05:57:44 PM
So, after much paper and ink waste I was able to finish my bf's book on time for Christmas! yay!  He loved it. Thank you all for your help =).
If you would like to read an online copy check out: cancersticksandlottotickets.blogspot.com

Here are some pics of the finished copy:

If the pages look crooked it's because the last signature is a bit wonky. I made the spine a tad too wide and it pulled the last section causing it to be messed.

2  Re: Candy cane shotglasses in Winter Holidays by teri on: November 27, 2004 05:36:40 PM
Hmmm those look really cool and I'm afraid I can't offer any advice on how to go about making them but I did try making these christmas ornaments which also involved melting candies in the oven:

When I tried to make them (and I followed the given instructions) they did not turn out...the different colours of lifesavers melted at different rates and they were all over the place...I was gonna post earlier to see if anyone else had tried them and had success but I forgot until I came accross this post.  Here is the website for anyone who is interested:

3  Re: Pearls and Ribbon in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by teri on: November 22, 2004 02:55:18 PM
I made these awhile back after reading your post...my picture sucks (the pearls don't actually glow! and the ribbon looks better in person) but I thought I'd post anyways cuz I'm avoiding writing a term paper Grin...I put a little tag on them cuz i'm giving them as a Christmas present

4  Re: photobooth picture frames in Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions by teri on: November 22, 2004 02:37:50 PM
If you'll excuse the cheesy pictures....here's what I did with my photobooth pics from the summer...its kinda hard to tell from the pic but I got one one of those frames where the pictures fit between two sheets of glass... then i just cut one pic off the end so they'd fit and used those black sticky corners (which scrapbooking seems to have resurrected - yay for that!) to keep them in place and voila!

5  Re: quilted totebag (first post) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by teri on: October 20, 2004 03:11:13 PM
Thats really awesome....I dont know much about quilting but did you follow any sort of a pattern? Did you do it by hand or with machine? I ask because i have this bag, of the quilted kind, which i got at a 2nd hand shop a couple of yrs ago, very similar to yours...except it has pockets on the fronts....i had to retire it cuz its falling apart...i won't be able to find fabric quite as interesting (tigers and fish on it) but i'd love to make another one...once again your bag is awesome!
