4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JACK THE RIPPER BOOK PURSE. IMG HEAVY ! on: August 11, 2005 12:06:42 PM
I made this purse for my mom, for her birthday on the 18th. I made it way early because i wasn't sure how it would come out cause its my first time trying to make a book purse...

The Front.

I took the pages out of the book and dyed them in tea,  and took the pictures, which the book was a murder book, about Jack The Ripper, and decoupaged it to the cover.

The Words and such.

Theres only one snap closure but, it didn't look good, so i made it look like theres two...

The One Snap, very hard to get on...

The pocket and sorta the inside.

The Pocket, its like a double pocket, because i didn't feel like sewing the top...

The Inside...

The back...

The Strap...

Me Modeling it. ( don't mind my fat ass, and pjs )

Hope you like it.  Smiley

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / MP3 Workout Cozieee on: July 14, 2005 03:26:16 PM
you know, mp3s need their workout, too!! well this is for me to workout..

It's a arm wrap carry case, DUH!!!!!  Grin Grin Like for the ipods well, mines better want to know why !?

Tim: WOW, Jim does that mean you can have it on both your wrist and your bicep at the same time?
Jim: No Silly, but if you have two mp3 players you could!!!
Tim: WOW!! I'm going out and buying me two of those mp-thingy majiggys! How does that case stay?
Jim: Glad you asked Tim, it has snaps!

So it wont fall out and...
So it will stay on your arm!

this is brought to you by Thea and Her imaginary commentaries, Jim and Tim.
Special Things to remember if you try this at home :
1. Plan out your strategy before beginning.
2. Have ALOT of seam allowance, it's better to be too big than too small.
3. When hand sewing the snaps on, don't sew your pants to it, too.
4. Obey rule 3, if you don't you'll be sorry, i know i was.
5. Thanks for looking. Smiley

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Shirt that actually fits me! WOOT WOOT! on: July 02, 2005 05:38:29 PM
I just got my first sewing machine today, like 3 hours ago, and believe me, i was SIKED! My first project was something for my mom, she wanted me to hem one of her table clothes, so about 20 minutes later, KA-POW, a very well done table cloth. My next project on my list was my large A Wilhelm Scream shirt, it was one of my pj shirts, because well, im in a youth small to youth medium... soo, i really wanted to wear it as a shirt, so after a bunch of searching i found the darn shirt. Sorry about the quality of the pictures, urm, i was really siked.

ps. those were taken at the same spot, you can now see my pants.

if you want more pictures i will be happy to take more.
