1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Fuzzy baby feet on: December 28, 2007 11:36:21 PM
I knitted these fantistically fuzzy baby slippers as a baby gift. Could have sworn I heard that the baby was a boy. Duh, it was a girl. Now I keep them for me, so that I can enjoy their supreme cuteness. Sorry that the photos don't show them in all their glory.

Modeled by the only small foot in my house- my Halloween poppet.
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitted Gnome on: December 22, 2007 03:41:32 PM
Look what I found lurking in my garden. It looks like he is posing in his longjohns.

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Fearless Socks on: November 12, 2007 02:15:39 PM
For those of you afraid of socks, I present my fearless sock. After limited success with double pointed needles, I moved to circular needles. Eureka. I have a complete sock that fits like it was meant for my foot. I followed the Simple Sock in Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles  by Cat Bordhi. To spare you looking at a picture of my foot, I lightly stuffed my sock with bags to give you an idea of the ribbing and general look. Looks better on the foot. Thankfully the yarn is patterned, to hide the beginner grafting.

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Simply Knitting Gnome pattern on: November 10, 2007 02:48:02 PM
Has anyone successfully ordered and received their Gnome pattern?I sent my order and cheque away to Simply Knitting in August, and still have not heard anything from them. I had intended to knit up a group for gifts but time is running out.
5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Monkey of Mystery on: October 14, 2007 10:48:53 PM
This is my Monkey of Mystery. For the time being Mr. Mystery is hiding his true identity. Actually it is because I am afraid to complete his eyes and mouth. But he doesn't know that.

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Origami pot holders on: October 12, 2007 06:26:55 PM
It was time to replace my pot holders that had been made for me. I applied my new crochet skills and voila. They are awesome pot holders and you can talk to people and crochet them at the same time.

This is what it looks like before the magic of origami. Just sc around both sides of the cast on chain.

This is what it looks like after the magic. Just needs to have the middle seam sewn shut.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Sheep dishcloth on: October 09, 2007 11:01:39 AM
I love sheep, but after knitting this pattern I can say that I definately do not love the bobble stitch.
