Thanks! He was done with Inktense Pencils that turn to ink when you get them wet. Once dry they are permanent on fabrics. I also heat set him with ironing. I had a lot of fun making him.

BigBangMomma, love your kitty art! I like that you gave it a hanger too! It's adorable.  Cheesy

Ludi Your weaving is very pretty. Love the colors you are choosing. The green one has a very neat texture in the middle. I agree, reminds me of beautiful sea glass too. The tie-dyed one reminds me of fireworks on a Summer night. AMAZING dotee. I love the faces that you give them. So amazing.

Roler I like the mini-quilt. How big is it? It reminds me of Spring, which I am desperate to see. Mac and Cheese. Between that and mashed potatoes I could be set for the rest of my life. Your fan is super cool, but one silly question, dont all those fans block the view for people around them. Oh my gosh, I just showed my age and told everyone how short I am. LOL! The fan is seriously amazing. I would have kept it to decorate my room afterwards.

Bunny1kenobi love the ATC. You have really been rocking those! Great colors and style.

Storerboughtcreations That narwhale is the cutest thing ever. For reasons like this I wish I could crochet! Awe, your hedgehog is too cute. I want to snuggle it! Very cool blanket. Looks like it took a lot of work!

Rockingbearranch Does deep red cocoa taste different? I have never heard of it but those brownies look SO good. Majestic bear! Great job on him. He looks so natural and care free. Neat stamps! I am all about reading. Speaking of reading Your bookshelf truly rocks. Love the color too. Awe, one can never have enough books.

Alwaysinmyroom the bowls were WAY easier than I expected. Try them, they work too!

Smeddley Love your goal books. The pic on the front is very pretty. I am sure your friend loved it and you are very sweet for making it for her. Love the hat reminds me of RRH, which I am obsessed with. And that box is very pretty. I like the colors you chose. Very sweet and romantic feel. That peg gnome is the coolest. I love his beard!!! Cool butterfly and frame. Again, that bat makes me wish I knew how to crochet. He is absolutely adorable! And a door to a whole new fairy town. I love fairy doors. I have a couple in my house. I need more. I love them so much!

Am I missing the link to the gallery? I checked and mine was received yesterday. I think some people sent before me too but I can't find the gallery link.  Tongue I am probably overlooking it.

Snow Day!!! And I have actually been productive today (reading counts).

Prompt: February - Basket Case
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: Stash
Project Name: Microwavable Bowl Holders
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I have seen these for a while and wanted to make them for my parents My Dad requires TWO bowls whenever he eats something hot or cold to protect his hands. It drives my Mom bonkers This should fix it! I used the 100% cotton batting I had left over from the quilt I had made him for Christmas. The fabric was found in one of my tubs I was going thru. My Mom loves batiks. They could also be used as a basket to hold anything else if they wanted.  Wink  PS. Using the quilting stuff I bought/had for the quilt also made this project really easy to do!

Whoo Hoo! That was my last prompt!!!!!!!

First up, apologies. I feel like I have been neglecting this board! I will comment later today. I have been fighting with the mortgage company all day. Ugh. They swear everything is on track now. We will see. BUT I wanted to get these projects in before the end of the month and the Winter Games. And before the 4-7 inches of snow they are now predicting for me tomorrow.  Cry

Prompt: February - Paint the Town
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: Stash!
Project Name: Happy Octopus
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: This was for the 4x6 Swap. I have no idea who got it but they got it today so I assume I am okay in posting up here. I used the Inktense pencils on fabric this time and these little water tube paint brush thingys to paint it into the fabric. Wanted to try something new and experiment a little. This was my first attempt to paint on fabric with them. They become permanent. I heat set it with an iron too. I frayed the edges for a fun carefree feel. It is sewn onto two pieces of cardstock to keep it sturdy. I used the inktense pencils that I got at Christmas and scrap fabric.

Prompt: Dye me a River
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: Stash!
Project Name: Seahorse
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: This was made by using the Inktense pencils on fabric again. I liked the effects on the first one better. This fabric absorbed it too much and it didn't get that water color type feel that I liked on the octopus. The intense pencils are solid ink that turn to liquid when wet - so ink! Should have put the Octopus in this category because he can actually ink. LOL!
