1181  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Mini 12 Days of Christmas 2015 (sign up 7-26-17 to 8-10-15; s/o 11-23-15) on: August 31, 2015 11:19:30 AM
Worked on something yesterday.  Since today is house cleaning day, I plan on finishing it tomorrow, and hopefully working on some other things.

What is this "house cleaning day" thing you speak of? LOL!
I should have done some of that this weekend but instead I made a mess bringing all the supplies out into the living room.  Tongue

I attempted the small that messed up on me twice again and realized it wasn't me. Bad pattern. I scrapped that idea and instead ended up finishing five items. Cheesy Now I have to find something to take the place of the wonky pattern one but that shouldn't be too hard.

I can't post individual comments but everything on the board lately has been so inspiring and amazing. I also find it funny that there is so much Christmas on a board in August. Makes me feel a little more sane that I'm not the only one with the holidays on my mind.  Cheesy

I'm sorry for your loss Gotgrey but I am glad that you seem to be handling it in a positive way. That goes a long way in healing.

I started a small for the second time yesterday and failed. I am blaming this go around on my new kittens. They were distracting me. Tonight I am locking them out of the room and getting it done for real. It is a quick easy project and I keep stumbling with it.  Embarrassed  It will be done tonight!

favourite holiday food. Christmas crack, from MistressJennies recipe on here
https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=283916.0 it is awesome!

My family has a variation of that recipe that uses Graham crackers and is so good. I'll have to give that one a whirl. If it is anything like ours.... Yumm. I can eat my weight in it and I weigh a lot. LOL!
My favorite has to be Hot Chocolate though. Nothing says holidays and winter to me quite like Hot Chocolate.  Grin I love cuddling up with a cup of hot chocolate and a kitty near the tree and watching the animated How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Yes, Venkman is the missing kitty. He is too cool to participate in group activities. LOL! And five that get along aren't that bad. I just make sure I spend time each day with each of them. When I sit down I have at least two on me. If they didn't all get along it would be crazy.
Stillatthetop, your cats must be nicer than mine. If I try to discipline them they will claw me in my sleep and then make me cuddle them afterwards. Ha! I am NOT alpha cat in my home. I did manage to get the painting base done. After about 10 minutes they got bored and all wondered off to play or nap.
