That is absolutely adorable! I love how they are each individuals. Good luck on completing yours. I am just like you. I never finish anything for myself.  Tongue

Fabric and Copics. I love sewing. The feeling of accomplishment when I can take a flat piece of fabric and turn it into something cool or usable is immeasurable. And my Copic markers are right up there too. I love doodling and sketching out fun things.  Cheesy

I was able to get a large done this weekend which was awesome! Now on to a medium. I am nervous about starting it so I have to keep my fingers crossed that my idea works.  Wink

I plan out the next Christmas every January. I make a list of the people I will need to buy for and break them up into groups then assign them a month to buy for them in. I do the kids last since they normally have so many new things come out right before the season. This helps me a lot because I don't have the stress and headache of a bunch of money going out all at once.

Very sweet quilt! I love that bird fabric. So cute. Looks extra snuggly!

About five years ago I had a HUGE Christmas. Since then I have had both sets of grandparents pass away and I got divorced so the number that I buy for has plummeted. We no longer exchange gifts with my Dads side due to distance and agreed to only do the kids on my Moms side (which my Aunt has declared I have none of since the divorce Embarrassed) to save on money.
Admittedly, this does save me a LOT of money and frees up my house from all the filler junk that accumulates after the holidays.
I tend to go big on my immediate family. I love gift giving and shop all year. I make a point to give my sister at least one homemade gift. When we exchanged gifts with my fave Aunt she always gave us the most amazing homemade gifts. My sister would complain after Christmas about them. My Mom and I decided we enjoyed watching her open the cheap crap and then have to put on a fake happy face so we always make her something. Cheesy Two years she learned how to knit so she could make us all scarves as revenge. We loved them. Only then did she see the joy and effort put into making something for Christmas. Now she actually appreciates, or at least she says she does. LOL!

House sitting for yet another family member but tonight should be the last night. Then I am free to do work on this swap some more. Plan on starting on a large and **fingers crossed** getting it done on Sunday.

I have five cats and I haven't run into the no pets rule very often. Granted I don't donate a bunch but I have done it a few times in the past. Craftster has a great link to some wonderful charities that you might want to check out. Days for Girls is a wonderful one and I know you sew. You could just make sure your items are washed before sending due to the animals. Best of luck!  Grin
