Prompt: June - Belly of the Whale
Team: Hero!
Bonus Points:  Swaptastic
Project Name: Planner Supplies
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description:  I am trying to learn the skill of being more organized this year. I got a planner that starts in July but made some extra pages for it and started using it now. These are some supplies and pages I made for a recent swap. I also spent a ton of money on sticker. I actually bought stickers that say No Buy on them! LOL! So I tried my hand at printing up some of my own stickers too. I embellished the stickers with metallic and glittery inks. The metamophosis is changing from unorganized to organized. Also obtaining goals and changing for the better with them. This is part 2 of my Wordy Level Up level two.

Project Name: Page Pockets for Happy Planner
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description:  I am not very good with paper crafting. I try but its nowhere near what I see people create on here. I especially hate origami. I always have. Folding paper is the worst! I had to do some paper folding and figuring out for this. The hole punches for the Happy Planners will not take more than 3 thin sheets at a time or pretty much one sheet of thick card stock. I think that is to make sure the pages can still move smoothly in the binder. I had to rethink how these got made do to that. The top page is a tracker for Christmas To-Dos. I forgot to take a separate picture before I sent and was hoping to use my partners photos but she cant post up. The page pockets were definitely a beginner project but I still struggled with it. This is part 1 of my Wordy Level Up level two.

Gallery! Add all your wonderful goodies here.

 Details of Swap:
This will be the same as the first round so I copied Noooitaremybirthdays wonderful details an used her questionnaire since the last round looked like it turned out so well. Why mess with perfection. Wink
Go ahead, jot it down in your planner, put it on your to-do-list, write it on a sticky note! The Planner/Journal Supplies swap is here. Well be swapping a 6x9 envelope or similar full of fun papery goodness to use in our planners and journals. If you dont work in a planner, but like to journal or just love stationary, stickers, office supplies, etc, youre welcome to join! Some of the items can be ready-made supplies, but at least half of the items must be crafted or fixed up in some way.

Some ideas would be perhaps inchies or other sized tiny art to be used as stickers, dividers, etc. Gelliprinted dividers, pouches or pages. Altered paperclips, page markers, handmade stickers, washi tape and washi samples, fun pens, flags, tags, tabs, closure elastic bands, protective sleeves, post-its, handmade dashboards, zippered pouches to organize supplies. etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Well be swapping a 6x9 envelope or similar full of planner goodies, at least half of which are crafted/altered/spruced up by you. Please put in a good effort to create a package that youd be happy to receive yourself! Include things that will make your partner smile by doing some stalking and careful reading of her questionnaire. Extras and desired level of complexity can be decided between partners. Tracking will be required.

Project Name: Pokemon Purse
Project Link: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=454986.0
Brief Description: I made this purse for RedheadwithThread for the Games Swap. She wanted something bigger with lots of pockets. I let her pick the pattern. I wanted it to be bright and fun like her personality.  Grin  Pretty sure this would hold a lot at a convention.

18  Pokemon Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by gozer on: May 18, 2018 11:14:45 AM

I recently joined the Games Swap and my partner really likes Pokemon. I knew I wanted to make her a purse that would be bright and fun so I went to a couple different fabric stores and finally settled on this fabric. I let her pick out the pattern. It's the Daffodil Tote by BlueCallaPatterns. I did the larger version here minus the patchwork on the front because I couldn't find enough Pokemon fabric to do that with. The purse is approximately 16 W x 9.5 H x 5.5 D.

The purse has two handle types, short and long, depending on how the user wants to carry it. One side has a large pocket along with a zippered pocket.

And the other side has the front pocket divided into two.

It has a zippered top. The top doesn't close the entire way though. Which I thought was okay once it was finished. Inside is another zippered pocket....

... and a slip pocket as well.

Inside the pocket was more of the printed Pokemon fabric but I forgot to get a pic of that.

I can't take all the credit for the purse though. My fur baby, Egon, did his usual quality control.

19  Re: Spring Nerd Battles 2018 Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by gozer on: May 18, 2018 06:20:33 AM
I checked on my package a few times and it seemed like it just stopped for a while on the 13th but thankfully it started moving again and I finally got it. And what a wonderful package it is! RedheadWithThread knows I collect the Monster High dolls like she does. She sews the most amazing clothes and she was generous enough to customize a modernized Red Riding Hood. I am obsessed with this doll. She is incredible. I can't imagine sewing this tiny hoodie! She did a fantastic job on it. It even has a little hole for her hair to come out! She also send me two fat quarters of some star fabric she has used before that I love. I am brewing up some ideas for them now.  Wink And a tiny hair brush for me new doll.

Here she is with some of her sisters on my Frankie shelf!

And here is a short of my full doll shelf. It's from the side. That's about a third of the dolls I have. I need more stands but I also have boxes full of unopened dolls too.  Tongue

And here is the star fabric I was telling you about. She used it as the interiors to some make up bags I believe. Love the star fabric! Thank you so much RedheadWithThread!
