Sent Tabs towel!!! Should be there in a few days!! I stitched the snail rolling out dough that I found on hoop love on flickr. The picture I took on my phone so its not the best! I tried to tie it all in with everyone elses colors and theme... She said she was going to hang it in her kitchen... So i went with the snail making cookies.... Hope she likes it!

here is what I stitched on 1boy1girl1kitty2 towel. She stitched "friendship" as her design... As i was looking through flickr I kept on stopping on these little guys.... how ironic is a friendship between a cat and fish... I think its so cute!! for some reason every time I iron my work it makes the stitches crooked... I am so MAD! i made extra sure to make the bowl as perfect as possible! maybe Ill take a look at it before I send it tomorrow.

here is the whole towel

sorry for the horrible photos I was in a hurry!

Here is my addition to Recangels towel.. It was a labor of love. This is by far the most detailed work I have ever done. Normally I need some instant gratification but I knew I needed something great. I really wanted to make something special for her because I was sssooo inspired by her Alberta! I actually was having swap anxiety to what I should stitch her.... So i googled a little bit and this is what I came up with ..... Attala... Hope you like it Rectangel !!!!

Here is the sort story behind Attala : Attala County, Mississippi: Attala is named for Attala or Atala, a fictional Native American heroine from a story by Franois-Ren de Chateaubriand.

close ups for rectangel (since I know she loves close ups)

And her whole towel so far

There are more pics on my flickr and my blog

19  Pin Up with telephone = Tea Towel in Needlework: Completed Projects by BrookOwens on: September 22, 2008 04:46:14 AM
I made this for the lovely Katiekutthroat in a personal swap that we did! This pattern is one of my favorites that I have... why? I don't know, I guess the telephone... and the way she is standing with her fab hat on... I used 6 strands on the hat... it seems so BULKY... Many people use 6 strands but it was too much for me. but anyways... the rest I used 3-4 I believe! the lips and eyes I used 1-2... hhmmm what else... I added ric rac on the bottom. and yup thats pretty much it! I love her and was sad to see her go!!! more info on my blog.

20  Geisha Pin-up tampon holder- NUDITY in Needlework: Completed Projects by BrookOwens on: September 15, 2008 03:26:34 PM
I did a swap with katie and I made her this tampon holder.... She said she liked asian and pin up things... so I thought this would be perfect. I embroidered it onto felt... used a pattern that is no longer available on flickr.... and... thats about all... It was a lot harder then i thought I've never stitched something that small and detailed.... anyways here it is...
