Adorable!  I would find making those much more enjoyable than actually watching the game.  Also, I have those same plates.  Hand-me-downs from the parents.

Such a good idea!  I'm going to make some for myself and friends.  Thanks!

It's awesome that you are able to come up with the style on your own.  I love both the skirts, but I like the mauve/mustard the best.  Really pretty, good job.
6  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: A garbage can made from garbage. How poetic. on: March 06, 2008 05:58:33 PM
I just bought this book and I love it!  My patience level doesn't allow me to even attempt this wastebasket, but I love seeing someone else do it.  It looks really awesome, great job!

I love it!  I thought it was brilliant on Knitty, and you did a great job with it.  I love that it's for your sister's birthday.

Your bolero looks awesome!  I've had the pattern, but have been putting it off for some reason.  Your's looks awesome though, so I think I will go home tonight and start working on it.

Thanks for the nice words everybody.  It boosts my knitting confidence immensely.
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Sweater for my niece (3 big pics) on: October 16, 2007 04:03:25 PM
I made this sweater for my niece for her first birthday.  It was the first human sweater I made (I made a sweater for my sister's dog before this).  I got the pattern out of a book I got from the library, when I figure out the book, I'll post it.  The yarn I used was lion brand wool.

***I am in awe to people that can remember from a picture what book a knitted sweater came from.  It is the pattern from One Skein by Leigh Radford.  Thanks to the people in the comments that helped remind me.***

Any comments, good or bad, are appreciated.
