1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Dritz Eyelet/Grommet Pliers on: March 02, 2010 02:05:56 PM
Hey Guys!

I am currently making some invites for my BFF wedding. Anyway, trying to use my grommeter to do single-piece eyelets, and I can't remember how to do it. Yes, it does do it, but I lost my directions. Does anyone have these? It was on the back of the package...

2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Help! I bought a table, and don't know how to mount my machine! on: June 29, 2008 07:47:34 PM
Hello all!

I found an old sewing machine table at goodwill. No machine attached, just the table. I have a Singer Simple, and have no clue how to mount my machine. The device appears just to sink down, but I'm not really sure. It has a large spring, and was made by Sears, quite some time ago.

Here are the pictures of the table and device:

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / AMANDA BYNES HAIRSPRAY! I WANT TO MAKE THIS DRESS! on: February 12, 2008 05:48:54 PM

Does anyone know of a pattern like it?
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Looking for patterns for cute jackets on: November 18, 2007 10:23:13 PM
Okay, so I have a few questions.

1. Next year for Halloween, I want to go as a Bond girl. However, I am going to be my own Bond girl. So I want to do a black vinyl/pvc jacket and pant combo. I was wondering if anyone knew of a jacket pattern similar to these pictures:

(Remember, I am only looking for a jacket, so ignore the rest of the slutty costumes.)

Also, I am looking to make a jacket like Nicole, the winner of America's Next Top Model, a few cycles ago. It is a military-inspired crop jacket along the lines of something like this:

Does anyone know of good patterns along these lines?

Thanks so much!

5  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / I'm an art major, here's some stuff! (Image heavy) on: November 15, 2007 08:36:00 PM
I am currently an art major with an emphasis in graphic design. Since I am still only a sophomore, I have not really had any graphics courses... Cry I am still working on foundations for my major. However, here is some work from my freshman year, and some from this year. I will add more when I take pictures. Also, maybe I'll throw in some stuff from high school when I go home for TURKEY DAY! YEY!

This is a portrait of my friend Alyssa. Her left eye is messed up, but oh well.

Naked man... I hate these days.

Naked woman... not much better.

Portrait of my sister. Every mark is a letter "K" because her name is Katie. This took forever... her teeth aren't finished here.

Valentine's Day present for my boy. He looks okay in this picture, but I screwed myself up.

The assignment was to empty an entire Bic pen. I drew my violin.

7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / PROM STUFF!!! on: December 19, 2004 07:55:17 AM
ok craftsters, i am a junior class officer for student senate, ya know what that means... i get to help plan prom!!! yipeee. anyway, we need to come up with different themes and decor that could go along with it. we dont go to a huge fancy ballroom or anything, just our school's commons (which are pretty nice.) since we, here, are all outside of the box thinkers, i was hoping we could come up with some awesome themes.

weve already done:
underwater (atlantis)
the oscars (rollin out the red carpet)
candy land (sweet on you)

i think 007 would be awesome, but somehow, i dont think that guns, sex, and martinis are gonna fly with the school board.

please let me know soon. thank you crafty people!!!
