7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Road Signs on: December 30, 2008 12:08:48 PM
My son is car obsessed.   I used foam board to make him a playmat with roads and tracks on it for him to play with his cars on, and he started commenting that he didn't have any signs on his roads. He was hinting for mommy to draw some for him on the mat, so imagine his surprise when mommy made these instead Smiley

They're made out of foam board and popsicle sticks
8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Spiderman Sock Guy on: December 30, 2008 11:54:00 AM
I made this for my nephew for Christmas... I was inspired by a post on here awhile back of an amazing sock monkey made into spiderman.  Mine is nowhere near as good as hers, I just broke out the sharpie for the webbing and just winged it when it came to the blue felt parts lol

9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / 2 new black apple dolls on: December 10, 2008 09:03:21 PM

10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / My first Black Apple Doll... A Pirate!! on: December 03, 2008 07:51:56 AM
I made this for a little girl who loves Pirates... her dress is completely removable, I made her body out of muslin... her eye patch and head scarf also comes off.  I also made her a little foam sword, it's kind hard to see it tucked into her tutu.

I had fun making her.... Smiley
