1  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Macaroni Grill Stuffed Portobella on: April 11, 2008 04:08:45 PM
The Macaroni Grill used to serve a stuffed portobella appetizer that was amazing. However, they took it off the menu a while ago but it is all I crave.

It had a portobella that was stuffed with bread crumbs, some type of green (spinach maybe?), and gooey cheese on top (blue cheese? or goat?)

Let me know if anyone has tasted this heavenly creation and has an idea of how to make it. OR if you just have a really good vegetarian stuffed port. recipe.
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / making crocheted beads on: December 28, 2007 03:14:11 PM
Hey everyone,
I hope you can help me. I am trying to find a free pattern online (or even if someone just knows the method) for making a crocheted bead. Now let me clarify, I dont want to crochet with beads... I want to make a bead out of crochet. Whenever I try to search online all I get are articles on crocheting with beads.

Please let me know if you know how to do this or at least what I mean. If you know a method even, then I would be able to figure it out.
Below is an example.
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / A Call For Help: Slipper Patterns on: October 12, 2007 06:39:36 PM
I don't mean to show my desperation but, you know, I kind of am. ......Desperate that is.
I am currently wearing a pair of store bought, (eek!) knitted (double eek!) mary jane slippers. I have been scouring the internet for good crochet patterns for this type of slipper. Unfortunately, all the patterns i've see are not that cool. My slippers are not at all bulky and have a sock-like shape around the toe, rather than the sort of pointy ones i've been seeing.

Can anyone help a desperate woman find an awesome pattern?

Thanks in advance. JILLIAN
